Phew! Alya's "baby shower" event was finally over after last saturday! Preparations had already been started weeks away from the actual day. And fortunately, the whole event itself went off smoothly.
The actual "baby shower" was held at about 10am. The official reception hours, however, were to be from 1-5pm. Around 100 plus people attended the event. Because of the number of people we were inviting, we decided to hold the event at the link-house at the void-deck there. And luckily we did. If the reception was to be held at the house itself, I doubt there would be space for everyone.. hehe..
Though the official reception time ends at 5, there were still people arriving. Hence, we have to delay in unwrapping all the tables and all the cleaning up. In the end, the link-house was finally clean by 7pm.. haha.. But STILL, at night, there were still guests arriving. Because all the food etc had been shifted upstairs, they had to make do with eating the food in the house. The last guests left at around 10 plus. Phew, what a day...

Btw, on the eve of the event, my dad, bro-in-law and myself, had to sleep downstairs at the link-house there to keep watch of the things. There were quite a number of mosquitoes there!! EeEkSsS!! And a couple of unfortunate things happen to me. Firstly, I went up to the house to go to the toilet and have a drink. Then suddenly, my nose bled!! And blood was flowing out rapidly. It took a while before the flow finally stop. And then, when I went back downstairs, I played with a cat. Unfortunately, as I was tapping its head, it clawed me!! Haiz.. now I have three-holes-and-one-line scars on my right hand..

Oh btw, the Da Vinci Code opens Tomorrow!!!!!!!! Have been waiting impatiently for this day!! And guest what? I have been re-reading the book, to regain my memory.. hahaa.. Well, I hope the movie will be as good as the book!
Anyway, any1 wan catch the movie with me? hehee... But if there's no one, I'll still catch it by myself though.. The movie is too good(I hope) to miss!! hahaaaa..
