Balance

We are at such a busy stage of our kids lives. Baseball, tumbling, swim lessons, therapy lessons. All good things but all such busy things. How do you keep a balance between keeping your kids actively engaged but also not oner programmed. How do you allow enough time for family time, yet stay involved in all the good things. I wouldn't take any specific activity away, and feel like they are all good things, but finding a balance between all the good things is a challenge for us.

Bow Tie Boy

This little boy has clothing struggles these days! We have problems every.single.morning!!! The shirt cannot touch is pockets, be too long, or too tight, have a collar or buttons. It's a stressful time when he needs to change clothes.

Thankfully we usually find something appropriate.

But he sure does look handsome when he goes to church on Sunday! Andrew thinks belts are optional. We pick our battles.

Dylan at 11 months

Claps his hands upon request

Says Dada and started saying Mama a week or so ago

Nurses 100%.

Stands alone and can get from the ground to standing position

Walks with assistance from a toy or a person

Cannot get enough of mom

Does not sleep through the night :-(

Loves balls

He is a busy, busy boy these days. Into anything and everything.

Has decided he does not like getting into his carseat.  He is fine once we convince him, but does not love the idea of it.

Still eats anything and everything and loves it all.

Favorite activities

*Push Andrew's bike as he rides it. Poor Andrew can never ride his bike without Dylan chasing him   trying to push him.

*Climbing onto Andrew's toddler bed. He just crawls to his room, climbs on the bed and just sits there.

*Climbing stairs.
