What a fun day! We were surrounded by awesome people for an awesome boy's 1st B-day! Thanks everyone for a great time!

Ayden is walking

Ayden is a walking machine. He started walking about 2 weeks ago. I can't believe it..well, I can, but I can't...it seems just like a few months ago that he was being removed from my body...and now he's walking...WHAT???--It has been really fun chasing him and playing with him. He loves his tractor toy, playing with shoes (any size, any type), eating, chasing the cat and pulling her fur, crawling like a madman still (since he's faster at that) and just being a joy! He does "High Fives", "So Big", with his arms in the air, claps to music and dances to music too. It is so funny. He likes to put things on his head and act like he can't see it. Then when he goes to find it again, he laughs. So funny! What a little ham...I can hardly believe we are so lucky to have him! Video to come...

11 months

11 months...
I can't believe how fast Ayden is growing!!!!!!! Wow!!! I haven't been on this blog for awhile, since I've now started teaching again full time, then being a full time Mom on top of that, and a wife, well, when is there time to post this stuff? Ayden is playing on the floor as I write. Well, he's 11 months old now. He'll be a year on Oct. 17th already. He's standing by himself, can walk around furniture, and has taken his first two steps now. So, who knows how much longer it will be before he's walking. He knows what dog means, and attempts to say it. He says Dada and Mama indiscriminately all the time. He loves to eat, and eats almost everything he can get his hands on. He loves being chased around the house as he quickly crawls and we come running after him. He has a new tractor toy that he enjoys. The dogs and cat are always a good source of entertainment. He has 6 teeth that I can see, loves putting stuff on top of his head and loves standing at the door to look out as well as the window. He can clap and give high fives as well as wave hi and bye. He enjoys turning pages of the book as we read to him. He hates not getting his way, and will cry and scream sometimes. Oh well, such is life, huh? Overall, we are having a ball with our little boy each and every day! He takes a lot of energy out uf us, but every ounce is worth it! Enjoy the updated pictures!

Ayden is learning how to turn the pages in his board books. I can only read about 2 words before he gets curious to see what's next. He's crawling like crazy now too, and crawls the fastest when our cat, Chevette, enters the room. He is giving "fives" to us and laughing, smiling and just being the best baby ever!

Baby on the Move!!

Ayden started crawling a few days ago, and is now starting to move even more. He really wanted to play with those computer cords...babyproofing, here we come! :)
