This is my new obsession song. I absolutely love it. ^_^ I wanted to save the lyrics somewhere so I didn't have to track them down again.
Now I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing Hallelujah
Your faith was strong but you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight overthrew you
She tied you to a kitchen chair
She broke your throne, and she cut your hair
And from your lips she drew the Hallelujah
Baby I have been here before
I know this room, I've walked this floor
I used to live alone before I knew you.
I've seen your flag on the marble arch
Love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah
There was a time you let me know
What's really going on below
But now you never show it to me, do you?
And remember when I moved in you
The holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah
You say I took the name in vain
I don't even know the name
But if I did, well really, what's it to you?
There's a blaze of light in every word
It doesn't matter which you heard
The holy or the broken Hallelujah
I did my best, it wasn't much
I couldn't feel, so I tried to touch
I've told the truth, I didn't come to fool you
And even though it all went wrong
I'll stand before the Lord of Song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah
I'm Still Alive! ^_^

Time O' Finances
Wow, its been a while since I posted. I suck. So, I got a second job.... yay..... We used our tax returns to get almost completely out of debt! So now as long as we're careful we shouldn't be scraping by so bad anymore. This whole cutback at Invisus thing really sucks though. I got paid last week, and I had the same amount on my check from Teleperformance as I did on my check from Invisus. So, with the more expensive insurance and the cut in pay and hours, I'm now making at Invisus the equivalent of $4 an hour less at 40 hours a week. So I am now working 80 hours a week and making $200 a month more than I was making 2 months ago. That sucks. Oh well, I guess that's life. At least with the second job we'll be able to pay our bills.
I am happy about the new stimulus package if only for one reason. It means the government gave me $8000 that I don't have to pay back! Yay! That really helped us out too. Because of that we were able to get out of debt and are able to buy food now. I'm a big fan of Obama for that. Although, watching the congressional address last night cracked me up. They gave him a standing ovation in between every statement he said. They kept standing up. Shouldn't the standing ovation be saved for the end? I mean, seriously, are you guys just trying to stay awake or what? It was humorous to me. And at one point Obama said something about starting to export American goods to strengthen the economy. I'm like, since when did America have goods? >.> We don't make any exportable goods. We get all our stuff from Asia. We have WoW. That is our contribution to the world. I thought it was funny. No one else in the break room did. :P
So, that's my life right now. Work, live for Saturdays, try to find humor in not so funny places. You have to laugh at life. If I couldn't laugh at life, I wouldn't be able to do what I'm doing now. That is the moral of today. Laugh at everything you can.
