Friday Sketchers #8
This is my card based on this weeks fab sketch at Friday Sketchers. I have used 1 of my new Sarah Kay stamps which arrived yesterday, I got 5 of them but have a feeling I will be ordering the other 4 as they are so sweet. I had to use my watercolour pencils for this card as for some reason the Stazon kept running when I tried to use Prismacolors and Sansador, I have found that it does though when I use acrylic stamps - weird or what!!
I hope you are having a good weekend. We are just off for a bike ride before it gets too late.

ArtyGirlz 'Nature' Challenge
The challenge at ArtyGirlz this week is Nature. I started this making this last night and had just finished it when I saw the challenge and thought it would be ideal. I haven't made it into a card yet as I can't decide what colours to mount it onto, or I might just leave it as it is. I love the shed stamp from Alota, especially the bricks which it is standing on. Like the sofa it is perfect to use with Tildas.
The colours are brighter in real life!

Saturday Workout, Caardvarks, ArtyGirlz and MDTTC Card
I made this card on Thursday evening, when my gorgeous new sofa stamp arrived from Alota but I have only just got round to uploading it. It just happens to be just right for all these challenges. The challenge at Saturday Workout is cutting, Caardvarks and ArtyGirlz are both pink and last weeks MDTTC was to make a scene with your Magnolia stamps (I'm a bit late for this one!!). I had so much fun making this card, I love making scenes out of all the different stamps.
Kerry had done the 5K Race For Life at Tatton Park this morning, she did so well and finished in just under 30mins, so far she has raised £105, hopefully there will be more to come. We are all so proud of her and are off out for tea as a treat.

Updated Magnolia DT Card
I made this card for this weeks Friday Sketchers Challenge and also for the Magnolia DT but I wasn't happy with it as it looked too plain. After sitting and looking at it for 2 days I have decided to put some flowers on it, what do you think?

Tilda and Friends 'A Mid Summer Night's Dream' Challenge
The challenge at Tilda and Friends this week is 'A Mid Summer Night's Dream', I decided not to go use the Shakespeare play as my inspiration but to go for a more whimsical theme of night time in the forest.
I had so much fun making this ATC, stamping, colouring and cutting out all the pieces individually and it was a good excuse to go totally OTT with the Glossy Accents!!
Have a good day.

This is my 1st ever DT card for Magnolia, I was so pleased when the stamps popped through the letterbox this morning and couldn't wait to use them and this weeks sketch over at Friday Sketchers is just perfect for them.
The Rose Queen went well yesterday and at least the weather managed to stay dry! I sold just under £40 worth of cards and have left the others at school for the teachers to look through, so hopefully I'll be able to sell some more. I have got an order for a card and also a few people took my little flyers with my blog addy etc, so hopefully I'll get a few more orders in the near future.

Cute Card Thursday '3 Embellishments' Challenge
The challenge at Cute Card Thursday this week is to use 3 different types of embellishments on your card and we have a fabulous prize for one randomly chosen winner which has been kindly donated by Tracy Jane Crafts.
I have stamped all the images and coloured them with Prismacolors and Sansador. Edwin and the house are by Magnolia, the truck is by Stampin Up and the cobbles are by Art Impressions. I have added Glossy Accents to the truck wheel and bumpers. My 3 different types of embellishments are the cross head snaps, the ribbon and the tiny little gem on Edwin's trousers. The papers are from my stash and I have used my new Stampin Up spiral punch. I love this punch and have been using it so much recently.
I have nearly finished making the cards for my stall, hopefully I'll manage to sell a few!! I just have to help Grant make some cards now as he is hoping to sell some for his enterprise scheme at school.

Fab New Challenge Blog
I've just found out about a fabulous new challenge blog which starts on Saturday, Penny Black Saturday. What a wonderful idea, I love Penny Black stamps and can't wait for the first challenge. Why not pop over here and take a look.
Tilda and Friends 'Bits and Pieces' Challenge
The challenge at Tilda and Friends ATCs this week is 'Bits and Pieces', to make your ATC using bits of card and paper which measure no more than 1" x2". I have stamped Edwin and then paper pieced all his clothes, his jumper was a little bit fiddly as all the stripes are individual pieces of paper! I added the stars to the background and put a skull on his t shirt. All the papers are pieces of Basic Grey and the I used my Dymo for the word. This is such a fab challenge but much harder than it sounds!

Friday Sketchers #5 + Magnolia Design Team Tuesday Challenge #1
I have made this card based on this weeks fabby sketch at Friday Sketchers and also for the 1st Magnolia Design Team Tuesday Challenge (MDTTC). Our first challenge at MDTTC was to make a card using one of the first Magnolia stamps which we purchased. This was my very first Tilda and she is still one of my favourites.
I have coloured the image with my Prismacolors and Sansador and added some glitter to her wings. The papers are from Bo Bunny and I have used my new Stampin Up spiral punch that arrived this morning along with some gorgeous stamps. The flowers and pearls are from my stash and I used the Cricut and Jasmine cartridge to cut the photo corners and added a Hero Arts sentiment.

Cute Card Thursday 'Xmas' Challenge
The challenge at Cute Card Thursday this week is to make an Xmas card and we have a fabulous CD of Xmas designs to give away to one lucky winner.
I got this Tilda stamp last year but this is the first time I have used it!! I stamped the image and then coloured her with Prismacolors and Sansador and used papers from Basic Grey and a metal sentiment from MM. The buttons are there to hide the holes which I made for brads but got wrong!!! It seems to be my week for making mistakes!
I got most of the housework done yesterday so I am planning on a nice quiet day trying to get some cards made for my stall at the village Rose Queen fete next weekend.

A Spoon Full of Sugar 'Colour Scheme' Challenge
The challenge at A Spoon Full of Sugar this week is to use the following colour scheme on your card.

This week we are asking you to use all the following 3 colours on your cards Pink, Blue and Green (any shades) + you can also use flesh colour and a little bit of brown for hair or Animals.

I have made my card using another Sweet Ebony stamp but it still looks so much like the one I made last week!! I have the stamped the image and then coloured it with Prismacolors and Sansador and added a few touches of glitter. The papers are from K + Co, the flowers are from my stash and the gems are from Craft Central you get a box of them for 99p, quite a bargain!.
Can you spot the mistake? I tried to be clever and stamp on the image when I'd done all the colouring but it went wrong so I have had to stick the Hero Arts greeting over the top!!

Papertake 'Die Cuts' Challenge
The challenge at Papertakes this week is to use die cuts or punched shapes on your card. I used the Cricut to cut this cute dinosaur and the tree. I added highlights to the dinosaur with a brown felt pen and an Andriondak Pesto inkpad, which I applied with cotton buds and a piece of kitchen towel! The papers are all from Basic Grey and I embossed the green piece with the Cuttlebug to look like scales. The sentiment is from Studio G and the 3 orange brads are from my stash.
