Introducing...

Black-Jack and Oreo
The newest additions to our family. They are mini Rex bunnies from Lehi, UT. Sadly about a week ago our Tilly bunny ran away. The pet stores said that bunnies get lonely and she probably went looking for other rabbits. The kids were devastated. So while up North for our Thanksgiving holiday we found these little guys.

Colin's 5th Birthday

For Colin's 5th birthday party he wanted Transformers to be the theme. It was pretty easy since that's what Mason did last year so I already had most of the decorations. There were 16 kids at our house. They played games, ran an obsticle course and smashed apart a pinata. It was a little crazy but lots of fun!
Colin's taking a swing at the pinata. Everyone stand back!!!
Opening presents.
Cool! Transformers and so many other really fun toys. Thanks everyone!
Singing, Happy birthday to Colin.
Make a wish! Hope it comes true. We love you Colibear!!!

Halloween 2009

Dr. Suess, Thing 1 and Thing 2 from the Cat in the Hat.
Princess Olivia as Snow White.
Colin, the very serious White Ninja.
Mason ,the Wicked Jester.
So excited before trick-or-treating.
Our fun neighbors got out their Rhino and pulled about a dozen neighborhood kids around trick-or-treating on this makeshift hayride. My kids loved it!
The candy! After trick-or-treating we went to another neighborhood for a family Halloween party with yummy homemade donuts and cider. Halloween was so much fun this year, but a lot of work and it's kind of nice to have it over with!

Happy Birthday Mason!!

We love you!!!

Mason turns 7

Mason's party. All the boys in their costumes. Say cheese!
Mummy pizzas.
We played some fun games like clown bean bag toss, bobbing for apples, and put your hand in the yucki stuff ( brains, worms, and eyeballs) and find a prize. The kids loved this one!
Cupcakes.
Make a wish!

First Grade, School Halloween Parade

Waiting in classes, getting ready for the parade. It was FREEZING at 9:30 am.
Our buddy Cameron is a pilot.
Mason's teacher, Miss Gubler is a black cat. Here they come.
No masks allowed at school, so instead of a wicked jester, he's just a jester. (A cute one though.)

She did it herself!

It's a hold your breath moment when your 2 year old brings you a nail polish bottle and says" I did it myself." I was totally expecting pink polish to be all over everything, but to my surprise, she actually did a pretty good job and was very careful not to get a drop of paint on anything except her cute little piggies.
Here she is showing me how to blow them dry.
So pretty!!!

Camping

On Friday night we went camping with our neighbor friends, the Droubay's.
We had such a great time !!
Derrick and Jona and the boys built this cool fort. This is where the boys spent most of their time. It was quite impressive!
Jona and Easton dirt bike riding.
Colin LOVED the RV! He even went to bed early because he was so excited to sleep on the bunk bed.
It was so beautiful up there!
Me and Liv.
We went four wheeling up to this look out point. We were up really high on the mountain. It was so pretty with all of the leaves changing.
I sat behind Brooke and held Olivia. She didn't love it and held her blanket over her face the whole time.
A huge wasps nest Mason spotted off he trail.
Tree swinging.
Such dirty faces, but still sooo cute!

Oooch!!

Yes, that is a staple in my thumb! I honestly can't tell you how it happened though, only that it hurt like crazy and I really felt stupid. Only people on TV do stuff like that. All I can say is that it was not my fault, it was my retarded stapler. It hurt and I was too chicken to pull it out myself, so I drove like this with it sticking out of my thumb to pick Colin up from preschool and then ran over to my wonderful neighbors house and had her husband pull it out with pliers. Oooch!!

Mason lost a tooth

Mason lost his first tooth just before school started.
There it is very loose, just barely hanging on.
He was really nervous about how badly it would hurt to come out and would NOT pull it out or let anyone else touch it. However, he kept complaining that it really hurt and whenever it would bleed he would come and show us. One night it started to bleed and he came to me . So I  got a piece of tissue to stop the bleeding and yanked it right out!
He was so excited that it had come out and that it DID NOT hurt. The tooth was really ready because when it did come out this is what was waiting behind it. His Big tooth!! Almost half way in.

First Days of School

Mason the First Grader! This is very bittersweet for me. Bitter: he's growing up too fast and he will be gone almost all day. Sweet: he will be gone almost all day!
He really seems to be enjoying first grade so far. He says " It's sooo long," but that his favorite part is lunch and recess.
Colin's 2nd first day at preschool. We tried it last year, but he wasn't quite ready.
This year he is so excited and asks everyday if he has school.
My cute little Coli-mouse! It really is amazing how fast they get big.
