funny boy levi just in May



It seems like almost every day is a kodak shot for levi this month. He is a funny baby and good sport. Eliza drags him by his feet, the kids swing him in baskets and well the rest of what the youngest puts up with. He is always making us laugh showing his tricks and funny faces all the time.

Well they are all snug till spotty decides to drag little cow by his feet. He actually does love it when she does that .

 Levi has the best seat at the table he is in perfect view of the calendar the jones gave us for christmas. He loves it and we noticed him pointing at the pic of jen and landon thought it was too cute.

Eliza cuts her hair

Kylie was cutting hans hair and sneaky eliza picked up the scissors when there was noboody watching and decided to cut her hair . Straight from the front of course...every kid has to do it sometime right. Hans sent me the first pic after i asked how bad it was and then eliza came home and knew she was in trouble but was just devastated she thought she could have no more birthday parties or go cuddle daddy or desserts. lol i felt so sorry for her i couldnt be upset anymore and found a clip and kind of pulled it to the side to show her it wasnt so bad.

Day out with Aunty Ange MAY 2ND

we dont see Aunty Ange very much anymore, but when we do it is always so much fun.  we went to the park, had slurpees that made the kids and aunty ange go a little crazy.  The kids especially love going in Aunty Anges cool red convertible car. levi thought everyones slurpees were for him too.

watching conference

Conference this April in our living room .we watcehd it with our friends hingstons..
Kylie and i thought we need to find a way to keep kids occupied and listening hopefully. You know like "if ye are prepared ye shall not fear" (haha not in this situation) so we checked out pinterest for some ideas. found this one: a paper bag for each speaker that session with an activity worksheet about speaker or gospel topic and snack or treat inside. well ok for some of the talks it worked to keep them a little quiet and listening but they were just pretty distracted by each other i think. I dont know how my mum and dad were able to have my sisters and i sit quiet through conference at the chapel. Im going to listen to conference on my own when the kids are back at school , I love general conference and i always find something or many things i need to start working on to be better. Next conference we will see how it goes. It was nice to be with our friends but just so busy with all the differenk kids with different focuses. I did hear pres uchtdorfs talk and loved it and am constantly telling my self "stop it " now.

BMX Bandits

So hans told me to take the kids for a bike ride to the pond everyday these holidays. Well i havent really had a chance to do this yet with the other holiday plans we have had. So finally last friday my kids and i, kylies kids, and marees girls all went on a bike ride. The plan was to ride to shops get hot chips and scallops for lunch then ride to pond. Well without the mums on bikes just pushing strollers it was umm quite the trip. An hour walk ended up being twice as long or more.with 4 kids on bikes, three on scooters and two strollers.
kids will be kids right and decide halfway they dont want to ride anymore and want you to hold their bikes, you cant your pushing a stroller...then the tears and tantys start . Then they are over and we are all back on track ...then one kids ankles get hit by another bike...then we stop again more tears more not watnting to ride anymore...then we are back on track..then one kids wants to stop for some water...wait she got some water...i want a drink too...and the domino effect of the thirsty kids start, off their bikes and come to you for their drinks lol (next time we plan pit stops better.
Then we are back on track and someone falls over ...more tears more kisses and it will be ok's. then we are back on track almost to destination...wait there is stairs hmmm ok three mums here we can pull every bike and stroller to the top? of cause we can we are super mums right... then we are back on track.
Had lunch in a park not the pond...we werent going to make it the pond and back today before dark, we decide after how long it took us to get to this park.
The way home for some reason took longer..i think getting 9 kids across 2 roads safely took a while then stopping for nature lady kylie to get some lilly pillys for the kids.more falls ,more tears and more kisses better, more mums yelling out to the kids they cant see anymore who have gone too fast without the rest on the bmx bandits 'WAAAAIT" WE CANT SEE YOU COME BACK", maree caught up to the fast ones and the teacher that she is started a game about shapes ....everyone was all together again, More laughnig and "IM the winner . no i am , no i dont want to ride anymore, more laughing , more fun, more superfast kids.
We made it home left at 12.30 arived home just before 3.30 . Everyone was so worn out we all sat on front lawn and had ice blocks . Beautiful day.
I text hans and told him how long it took us and he said " what took you so long i can do it much faster" lol seriously hans .

school holidays for alicia

I dont know how homeschool parents do it.
After alicias parent teacher interview last week . we decided she needed a little extra tutoring or well needed to learn more without being distracted at school with friends etc. alicia has the brains and potential just needs to listen more in class and finish her work.
So every morning im a mean mum and i have her do some practice maths test and her times tables. Hans also does time tables at night with her sometimes she cooperates but other times just has better things to do with her holidays (like any kids right). But practice makes perfect...i dont want her to be perfect just to pass.

even though our plans of going to the beach changed we still had a nice family day
at umm a park i forget the name . but we are going to go back there and go on the paddle boats and canoes some day. it was so pretty and i got pretty camera happy (again)
Tyler was happy just sitting looking at the water and trees...when dad tries to scare him and scoops him up and.....drops one of his shoes in the water lol. tyler didnt care he was having fun playing. but hans the good dad he is goes and searches for the biggest stick he can find and successfully pulls out his shoe. pretty fuuny

my fav boys

easter morning was not to early this year about 6:45 .the kids loved their easter baskets . the night before tyler said "im going to stay up so late and loook through my window and see what colour the easter bunny is" he didnt stay up late but the easter bunny left a little bit of a trail some of his blue fur on the ground ..so tyler said "yeah i saw the easter bunny he is blue and is as tall as the top of our tv shelf"
Levi was happy to crawl around picking up the egg trail and we were constantly taking foiled choc eggs out of his mouth . he was so happy and hyper we had to keep him in his crib bouncing so we could all get ready for church.





The kids looked so cute in their easter clothes especially the boys in matching shirt and ties. i didnt get a pic all together too hyper from too much chocolate
we went to mon and waynes house for easter lunch . We found out they have to coolest backyard in australia with big rocks to climb and have picnics or just chill on. I love seeing all the cousins play together well allexcept the watts gang was missed and grammy and paPA. Monique made a beautiful lunch and very impressed she can make pav from scratch. hans and waynetook thekids who wanted to on a little bush walk , they loved it and then of course there was the easter egg hunt that was fun to watch and see who shares and who cant wait to the end and starts unwrapping their eggs while looking (eliza and lucia). beautiful easter sunday .

Easter hat parades and concert

Tylers had his first Easter hat parade today. He was pretty excited and happy with his super chicken hat kind of like a duck too but ducks dont really have much to do with easter. Tyler was not shy at all walked around waving and smiling at everyone. looked great and had alot of fun. I cant take credit for his hat as we loaned the chick part from a friend from a friend and just added mask and bandanna head band and cape. Tyler loves school and was so sad today when i had to take him home early so i could make it to elizas concert...i hope he can keep the same love for school till he finishes year 12 !!


Then next on same day was Elizas Easter concert I have mostly video of her concert she was very cute and knew the words to the songs with annie and danced away(even if she was a little behind everyone for a while..she also had alot of fun. Until the last song "milkshake" she was dancing and then ran on over to grammy and levi add somehow fell back hit her head and started having another seizure .Good way to clear an audience right. She actually had two one right after the first and that was a first. So ambulance was called and we went to hospital and she was in emergency sleeping a while but then once she woke up was as hyper as can be. Playing with the bed controls and laughing and talking away with hans. Well after her pee sample and throat ,ears etc were ok they sent her homw, So still no answers as she os now on the epilim and had a well no fever .so we will just keep a close eye on her. Busy day today for the family with easter celebrations and more hospital.

Icy pole time

The three oldest kids were outside eating icy poles and Levi was inside standing against the door crying to be iwht the kids and to have what they were having too i think.
So i sat him outside with the laughing kids and gave him an icypole too, half of it went on the ground but he was happy. I love these moments when the kis are not all fighting and dobbing but having fun together.

poison control

So this week we haev had a few medicines and potions in the house.Eliza has been
taking antibiotics and epilim morning and night, Alicia unfortunately got nits. So wedensday she had this poisonous treatment in her hair ...yuk ihate nits, she only had one live one and a few eggs ...still gross . Anyways so i lost the lid to the treatment looked everywhere then thought i must of thrown it in bin. Well watching tv that night Levi was playing on floor and i see he has lid in his hands. Levi puts everything in his mouth so im panicking he has been sucking on this lid of poison. hans say scall poison control..i do its all ok they think im a fruit loop i think,
Then today i noticed in the fridge antibiotics pennicyllin we had for tyler but didnt use and wasnt expired. Anyways it was opened in fridge with lid off. Then i see elizas face and she has this funny yellow ring above her top lip. So iasked her if she was drinking the medicine and of course she laughs..then says yes. She had drunk half the bottle . Well since eliza is eliza and we cant take risks with her . Once again i call poison control they said " she might have a sore tummy and throw up and should drink some water. lol only eliza right would sneak into the fridge to swig on on a medicine bottle. I have double checked all the other medicines to make sure the safety seal is on and am very glad i caught her when i did she would of kept drinking it obviously liked the flavour :)

10 Month old Levi standing on his own for 10 seconds( or more)

Levi has 2 bottom teeth now and the top two are trying to break through. He is a little adventurer crawling under tables , chairs, in the fridge,in the blinds, closes doors behind him and then cries becasue he locked himself in. Great eater would much rather what we re eating then anything from a jar.
Has just learnt to wave and point and sometimes sounds like he is saying taa but it comes out caar.
Just this last week or maybe two he has started standing on his own, he is so cute will stand then look for someone to cheer him on.
He loves to put nemas blanket over his head and play peek a boo with us. except he pulls the blankie over his head and has a very delayed "abu" then pulls blankie off ..still cute
He just loves loves hans when he hears the front door open
in the afternoon he crawls as fast as he can to him with a big smile on his face.
he is such a cute kids we love him to bits and dont want him to grow up too fast , he is so cuddly and beautiful.
that last photo is oatmeal all over him it looks kinda gross i know...he had stolen annies and elizas cereal from them..sitting up high in his bumbo chair lol
