I love getting these school pics and capturing these moments in time. They're bound to change so much more....even by the end of the year!

Easter 2019

We enjoyed a beautiful Easter Sabbath today. It was a gorgeous day full of sunshine and warmth. We had a wonderful Easter service. Jonas sang with Lizzie Mohlman and the choir sang as well. It was mostly music with a short talk toward the end. We spent a bit of time taking pictures at the temple. It was a bit bright, so Sadie couldn't open her eyes for many of them. I love my kids. Of course we missed having Ansel around, but enjoyed talking to him later that day.

The kids each got squishmallow pillows and some candy and a book in their Easter baskets.

We did our traditional egg hunt...which is going faster and faster as the kids get older.

Sadie won the $10.00 golden egg and Jonas won the $5.00 golden egg.

Sadie made our Easter dessert. She and her friend traced the Easter figurines from our nativity onto cardboard and then made chocolate molds for them. Pretty impressive! We enjoyed a nice dinner and visit with Hannah, Brandon and Lilly.
I got this Easter display from Emily Freeman, a LDS author that I like. She wrote a book called Celebrating a Christ Centered Easter, which we followed as well as the suggestion reading from our Come Follow Me. It was wonderful to really focus on Christ during Easter. We weren't perfect and I feel like there's more that I'd like to incorporate, but it was still wonderful!

I am grateful for the knowledge I have that He has risen and lives today!

Utah National Parks Spring Break 2018 Day 4--Goblin Valley State Park & Dead Horse Point

Today we explored the Dead Horse and Goblin Valley state parks--both amazing and fun to explore. The kids especially liked Goblin Valley--it really did feel like we could have been on a different planet.

Owen getting tired of the hikes...wondering when the vacation part of our vacation was happening!
