Turtle Peak

Aaron and I were able to go on a little date a couple Saturdays ago. We went and hiked Turtle Peak. It's in Red Rock and it's only 5 miles but it's pretty intense. It was beautiful. I love the desert. I think it's a beautiful place. Maybe that's because I grew up here and I know it doesn't even compare to other places but I love it. There was amazing views from the top. You could see Vegas and all of Red Rock. It was wonderful:) My phone camera just doesn't do it justice.

I did it!

I finished cosmetology school! Going to cosmo school was one of the best decisions I have made for myself! Not that cosmetology school was very hard, it was more so juggling two kids, a husband in school and working and taking care of my grandparents. 2011 was one freaking hard year but with that came a lot of personal growth. I can do hard things. Yeah, kind of cheesy but I never thought I was capable of doing all that without having a mental break down. Now, I got close. Maybe a little too close at times but I made it. I know it was just as hard on Aaron too. He amazes me:)
Anyways when I started school I had long blond hair. It was just about to my butt. I got a "trim" and somehow 5 ish inches came off. Then I put redish peak a boos in. about 7 weeks later died my hair brownish/red with a blond strip (look at the picture above). About 2 two months after that died it all one color. Then in the beginning of January did ombre. So, now I think i need to take it easy so I don't kill my hair!
