My A.D.D mind

-Lately Ezra is either an angel or the devil. More so the devil. WHY!?!?!?
-Lincoln is right there with Ezra
-Why oh why do I love Dr. Pepper so much. I really want to ban myself from soda all together but for some reason Dr. Pepper is my sanity sometimes. Is that stupid or what?
-At night I get so frazzled with the kids. I think by the end of the day I'm so done that my patience is none existent. I hate that I get that way.
-I'm so excited that I am out of my boot!!! I have to get the Doctors orders to start running again but hey, I'm out of the boot!
-Ezra told me the other day "damn it" is a bad word. Yes, yes it is but sometimes it just makes mommy feel better to say it:)
-I need to find myself again. I don't really know who I am. Not mom, not wife, just Nicole? This is going to be a priority!
-Speaking of that, I am most likely signing up for cosmetology school in the fall. I have wanted to do this since I was in high school. I'm freakin excited! Nervous but excited :)
-I'm really getting frustrated with the extra baby weight I'm packing around. It's only 15 to 20 pounds, so why does it not want to come off. I have worked twice as hard as I did with Ezra but nothing. I'm 25 not 45 this weight shouldn't be that hard to get off, damn it! Ha, sorry enough of the damn it phrase.
-Now that the semester is over, I have a husband again! Yay, I love him! And boy do our kids love him!
-Sometimes living with my grandparents sucks. Kind of harsh but it's the truth. Not because of them, just because it's exhausting. Taking care of my 2 kids and my grandparents really wipes me out. I'm sure they feel the same way about us living in their home. But you know what, I am so so so grateful for them. I'm grateful that my kids are getting to know them. I'm grateful for this time that I have with them. I love them!
-As much as my kids drive me crazy, I love them! I love their craziness. They are healthy and happy. What more can a mom ask for.

I had to add a picture. This is Ezra, Lincoln and their buddy Luke eating cherrios off the ground out back. Instead of telling them to stop, we take a picture. It was kind a gross but cute and funny at the same time:)

A little love in San Francisco

Oh how I needed this vacation! I love my kids but it was way past due to have a husband and wife vacation. So here are a few things we did...
We took a boat under the Golden Gate Bridge. So cool! It was windy and FREEZING but totally worth it.
The boat tour also took us around Alcatraz. We didn't actually stop there but it was still pretty neat.San Francisco sky lineYum... seafood! Our sweet glasses
We stopped at the Oakland Temple. So beautiful!
The main reason we took the trip was because Aaron was accepted to Stanford to share his research on skitzophrenia that he has been doing for the last year. I'm proud of you babe! Everything about Stanford was beautiful! We also slept a lot and relaxed. I did a first and went to the movies by myself while Aaron was in his conference. It was actually pretty fun. Oh good times for vacation. Hopefully it doesn't take this long to do another one :)

The happiest place on Earth!

Disneyland was a blast! It was the kids 1st time going. My parents took our family as a graduation gift to Aaron. We had a great time. One thing that made it great, was the fact that I was in a wheel chair because of my foot. Which means we got to go to the front of the line for everything! It was awesome! Also, I have two funny stories to share, well I think they are funny. So, we went on the Toy story ride. The one where you shoot things and get points. Yeah, that one. When you go to get on the ride it never stops moving so you have to be paying attention. I got on 1st with Lincoln, then my parents, then my brother and Ezra and then Aaron. Well, Aaron didn't want to sit by himself so, he thought he could sneak up to me without anyone noticing. As soon as he got out of his seat, alarms went off and the ride shut down. Everyone was staring at us and the workers started yelling at Aaron. One screamed "you can get kicked out of the park for that!" and the other one yelled "you broke my ride!" HA! It was so awkward but so funny. Needless to say he didn't get kicked out and the ride wasn't broken, it just shut down for a few mins. Way to go Aaron :) The other story is more about how great of a mom I am. HA! All I wanted to do was go on the Haunted Mansion. The last time I went to Disneyland, I was like 7 and I remember that being my FAVORITE ride. So, naturally I took my kids on it. Um... who would have thought the Haunted Mansion would actually be scary, right? Sometimes, I'm a little slow. Before the ride even starts you get into an elevator and the lights turn off and someone screams. Well, obviously a 1 year old and a 4 year old aren't going to like that. They both started crying and didn't let go of us the whole time. The whole ride all I could think about was what a crappy mom I was. I'm pretty sure they are going to have nightmares because of that. Mom of the year award right here! Other than that we had a wonderful time. Thanks mom and dad for the fun trip!

A whole bunch of random pictures we took throughout the day
Lincoln loved it's a small world so much he fell asleep! HA! I forgot how annoying that ride is.Ezra LOVED the castle
The day wouldn't have been complete without Mickey ears and swords
This was Ezra 10 mins into the car ride home

Graduation!

YES!!! Aaron graduated last Sat. I am so proud of him! He is the 1st person in his family to graduate from college. It feels good to have this behind us. We still have a long journey of more schooling but I know it will be worth it. Or so I hope it will be :) Congrats babe! I love you!
