Going back
I was looking at baby pictures of Ezra and it made my heart happy. These pictures made me laugh out loud. I can't believe that was 5 years ago.

Livin it up
-Ezra finished t-ball and had a party. I'm not sure we are going to put him in again. Not really sure he is the "sports" type and I mean that in the nicest way.-Ezra also has his 1st loose tooth. Love it!
- Lincoln and Ezra are obsessed with Aaron's iphone and they fight over it... a lot. It's really annoying.
-Aaron is one semester closer to applying to med school. WOOHOO!!
-I signed up for cosmetology school. I have wanted to do this since I was in high school. I can't tell you how excited I am. Oh and nervous, scared, happy, anxious, a little bit of every emotion you can have. Oh and I start in a week:)
-I am doing boot camp right now and my body has never been more sore. EVER! I love every second of it though.
-Aaron is still going to school and working his life away. He is also about to start volunteering at the hospital. The kids and I cherish every moment we have with him even if it's only 5 mins.
-Thanksgiving was great. We spent the day with Aaron's family. It was nice to relax out there. Then we spent the rest of the weekend with my family. I didn't take any pictures. I'm not sure why oh yeah, I'm lazy.
-We have been very blessed. Sometimes, okay a lot of the time, it's easy for me to have a pity party for myself. But really life is good. It's hard but that's what makes it worth it, right?

New bridge
After my half marathon, we decided since we were already in Boulder City we might as well go check out the new bridge. Aaron wanted to drive across it then walk across too. Bridges kinda freak me out. I really didn't want to drive across it but we did and you can't even see that you are on a bridge. So, that was okay. Now, walking across it is a different story. I didn't mind walking across it but I was having a small anxiety attack because we had the kids. Ezra could have easily climbed over the edge if he wanted to. Luckily my parents were there too because I wasn't much help. Remember I did just run 13 miles. I was really starting to feel it.

Half marathon
On Oct. 30 I ran my very 1st half marathon. Yes, I said 1st. I plan on running one again. I am slightly disappointed with my time but more than half of it was on a trail and I didn't train on trails. So, I probably could have done better if I was more prepared. Anyways, it started at Boulder Beach then it went on the trails that go through the old railroad tunnels. Then it turned around at the Hoover Dam parking garage and you ran back. It was actually a beautiful run. Beautiful views of Lake Mead and the new bridge. My time was 2 hours and 24 mins. Not bad for my 1st half. I just want to say that I never was a "runner" and this is something I never thought I could do. Mainly because of my lack of motivation. Training for a half takes a lot of time. There were a couple days I just wanted to quit but I didn't. I am really proud of myself for sticking with it. And I can honestly say I love running now. I think I am addicted! It feels so good to see and feel yourself getting better. I am also thinking I want to try out a triathlon. We'll see how that goes.

T-ball
We put Ezra in t-ball and he loves it. His 1st time up to bat he hit the ball and ran with the bat straight through the field to second base. It was hilarious! And when they played in the outfield he was all over the field. You know how there is always that one kid who does their own thing and runs all over the field, lays down on the base so no one can step on it, tackles their teammates to get the ball yeah that's Ezra. At least he is having a blast!

No more mullet
Lincoln had some pretty sweet strawberry blond locks. His hair was long and it had some curl. Adorable, if I may say so myself. However, the back of his hair was slowly losing its curl so he kind of looked like he was sporting a mullet. Sorry white trash mullet, you had to go.

Sunday events
On Sunday, Ezra almost gave Aaron and I a heart attack so I thought I should record it so we can remember such a lovely event. Ha! We were at church and it was during sacrament. Ezra asked if he could go get a drink. This is becoming a weekly thing but for the most part he will go and come right back so we said yes. On his way back in, Lincoln sees him coming in and goes to meet him. So, Ezra turned around and headed back out in the foyer and naturally Lincs followed. Aaron got up to go get the kids and when he got out in the foyer Lincoln was there but Ezra wasn't. Aaron thought he just ran down the hall so he went looking down there and could find him. He looked around for a few more mins and still couldn't find me. So Aaron came and told me we have a minor problem, I can't our kid. Being the awesome mom I am, I didn't get up because I thought he was just in the bathroom or something. After about 5 mins, I decided maybe I should go see what was going on. Aaron and I looked in every room and outside twice. Then we recruited a few people to help us look. After about another 10 mins of looking, I started getting a little nervous. Where the heck could he have gone? I thought maybe he straight up left and starting walking home. We searched the church EVERYWHERE multiple times by multiple people and nothing. Now, I will admit, after so many of us were searching for 20 mins I may have teared up a little bit. I started thinking the worst. What if some weirdo came in the church and took him or what if he is wondering the neighborhood. Yeah, what if. I was about to get in my car and drive around the neighborhood and we have a police officer in our ward that we were about to get out of sacrament to help us and that's when we find him. One of the young women in our ward found him in the Primary room behind the piano. Don't worry, I looked there earlier and so did Aaron but we didn't see him. Can you guess what he said when we asked him what the heck he was doing there? I wanted you to find me. Ummm.... we weren't playing hide-and-go-seek!!! Oh, I wanted to play. I wanted to beat the child! Grrr... I guess we can laugh about it later but for now, I'm still a little pissed about it. Sometimes I wonder what goes on inside that head of his. I love my kids to death and the thought of anything ever happening to them is horrible. The things we go through as parents :)

A Little Red Rock Relay Action
Sooooo fun! Aaron and I ran the Red Rock Relay. It started in Brian Head then we headed through... Mammoth, Duck Creek, Navajo Lake, down Cedar Breaks (scary to run down), Cedar city, Enterprise, other small towns I don't know, then through Snow Canyon, St. George, Washington, La Verkin and we ended right by the Zion's National Park entrance in Springdale. It was a total of 186 miles. We had 12 people on our team and two vans. It took our team 31 hours of none stop runnin to finish. Aaron and I were in Van 1 AKA the Snow van. It's called that for a reason. We got to Brian Head at 7:30 in the morning and it was feakin freezing! I think my van registered it in the 30's. YIKES!!! Then van 2 was the sun van because they were running in the heat of St. George and it was upper 90's. YUCK! I will definitely be doing this again next year. So worth the no sleep and super sore body for 2 days after. Here is a picture overload of our running extravaganza...
