My little monsters

Ezra
Oh Ezra, you sure do keep me on my toes. I can't believe how big you are. You make me so happy! I laugh with you daily. Your personality is awesome and you have such a good heart! I LOVE who you are! You amaze me every single day. I love the stage you are in right now. You are so curious and you remember everything like a little sponge. You asked the most insane questions. Questions that I didn't even think about until I was a lot older than you. You love playing outside and going to school and let me tell you something, you can talk:) We drove out to Logandale the other day and you talked the entire way there. Seriously, the whole time and it takes almost an hour to get there. I love it! My little chatter box. You also crack me up with you clothes. Right now you DO NOT wear short or pants with pockets and just so you know it is almost impossible to find short and pants without pockets. You have to pick out your clothes for the day. Heaven forbid me or your dad pick them out:) You make me smile everyday. I am so grateful that I can be home with you. I really do feel bad that I worked when you were little. I love watching you grow. How did I get so blessed to have such a wonderful son?! I love you forever.

Lincoln
You melt my heart every time I look at you. I can't even describe how much joy you have brought to my life. You are quite the handful right now but I love it. You officially had your first real nasty fit. We went to Red Robin the other night for dinner and we let you and Ezra play on the car games they have and you did not want to stop. I'm pretty sure I saw the look of pure anger in your eyes when we left. You tried clawing my face all while screaming hysterical and trashing your body. Your dad and I just laughed and we both realized you are growing up way to fast. I love you! I LOVE your sweet little personality. You are so tender and loving and you give the BEST snuggles. You also have quite the temper. Ezra is in for it in a couple years. You hold your own around him already. I can only imagine the craziness when you two are old enough to wrestle. You love taking baths and being outside. You are the pickiest eater. Crackers, yogurt and meatballs are the only sure thing you will eat. Oh and you love your milk:) You LOVE music and you dance every time you hear it. Rockin out comes natural to you :) I am so happy you are a part of our family. I love you forever!

Huh...

Man, lately I have had some really great things to blog about and then when it comes down to it... blah. When I actually have time to sit down and blog, I don't want to anymore. Is that lame or what?? But I have a pretty fantastic story to tell. I couldn't pass this up.
Aaron and I (or more like Aaron) have made it a tradition to run the Northern Exposure 10k every year. It was today so, of course, we went. Anyways there were booths set up with people handing out free stuff. I don't pass up free stuff so I headed over there to see what they had. A lady handed me advance screening tickets to go see that movie Plant 51. It doesn't come out until next week so we decided to go watch it. And did I mention it was free! We thought it would be nice to have Ezra time so we dropped Lincoln of at my parents and headed out. The movie was kinda lame. Ezra fell asleep for half of it and I dozed off a few times too. Okay, so the movie is over and we get up to leave and I step into the isle. A little kid was running down the stairs so I decided to move out of his way and somehow lost my footing and tumbled down the stairs. Somehow I twisted and hit my head then my tailbone. Lucky for me, (not for her) an older woman was in front of me so she prevented me from falling all the way down the stairs. No, I didn't knock her down! I landed on my back with my head on the lower part of the stairs with my feet higher. SERIOUSLY!? Aaron didn't even know what was going on but as soon as he realized it was me on the floor he laughed. I think he actually made sure I was okay and then laughed. Hahahaha and so did I! I mean really, I'm sure it was comical to watch. My tailbone is pretty dang sore. Hopefully you all can get a laugh at that too! Unfortunately, I have endless stories similar to this one. I struggle :0

It's a date

Last Sat. Aaron and I went on a date. We decided to hike Sunrise Mt. On the top, there are amazing views. You can see all of Las Vegas, Henderson, Lakes Las Vegas and Lake Mead. Let me tell you something though, Sunrise mt. is pretty much all rock and it's like razor sharp rocks. There isn't even a whole lot of dirt, just rock. It took Aaron and I just over 2 hours to hike up (without a trail, thank you Aaron) and we decided to follow the road down and I don't think it even took us an hour. I had fun! Thanks Aaron for letting me take my sweet time and having patience with me. Love you :)

This is the strip from about half way

The strip from the top
You can't really tell but there was a drop off on both sides
Yay, we made it!
Lake Mead
Not sure what Aaron's doing :)

Help please

Why are my pictures blurry when I upload them to blogger? The pictures are nice and clear on my computer just not on blogger? Does anyone know how to fix this?

Halloween stuff

Here are some pictures of us carving pumpkins. Ezra and Lincoln were totally into it.

My parents took me and the boys to the pumpkin patch. It was so fun. When we were leaving the house, Aaron was saying goodbye because he had to work and this was how his and Ezra's conversation went:

Ezra: dad, I don't want you to go to work. Come with us
Aaron: I'm sorry buddy but I have to go to work.
Ezra: No, you don't have to. You have a choice.

What? This kid is growing up too fast.
