Awww

Ezra is actually taking a nap right now! What makes it even better is Lincoln is napping too! Oh man, I don't know what to do with myself. So, why not blog. I really don't have anything to blog about. How sad! Lets see... we are having a yard sell this Sat. at my parents house. We are trying to declutter our house and make a little money while we are at it.
Lincoln has been sick for a couple days now and is showing no signs of getting better. I am taking him to the doc today because his cough is starting to make me worry!
Ezra is soooo attached to Aaron right now. It's actually pretty cute until Aaron has to go somewhere then Ezra has a melt down and I have to deal with it. Oh, funny story! The other day Ezra came to me and asked me to but a diaper on him. I told him no and that he only wears diapers to bed. So he put on his cutest face and sweetest voice and asked "please mommy" how do I say no to that. So I put it on and he goes in his room. A few min later I go in his room and he is pooping so I get kinda mad but what can you do the damage is already done. So I asked if he was done and he said no. I told him to come get me when he was done so I can change him. I go get on the computer and like 2 mins later I hear him in the bathroom unrolling the toilet paper and making this dry heaving noise. Like he was about to throw up. Then I heard it again so I hurried in there and he had taken his diaper off and was trying to wipe his bum and got poop all over his hand and legs. He was completely disgusted that he had poop on him. I was almost about to yell at him for not getting me but instead I just had to laugh. What 3 year dry heaves because he has poop on him. It was really funny. Then he got mad at my for laughing and almost starting crying because I wasn't cleaning up the poop fast enough. Funny kid!
That has been the excitement in our lives. I really need to get a hobby! I have taken some really cute pics of the kids. So enjoy their cuteness!

Old school

I was looking at old school pictures today and it took me back a couple years ago. Megan, Melissa and Adrianne were my girls! I love them so much and have shared some of my best memories with them. When all four of us were together we were loud, crazy, fun, annoying, hyper. Basically we were awesome! Haha! Well, to us we were. We always had fun together! Here is a little glimpse at how freakin awesome we were!

We went to the airport dressed like this to pick up Megan... what are best friends for, right!

We always took stupid pic like this. Dang we are HOT!

HHH That is all I need to say! This was a toga party we had for Aaron's 24th b-day.

Mud wrestling! This picture makes me laugh every time I look at it! And no, Aaron is not flipping off the camera! It's his pointer finger.

This was our every day wear. Okay not really but Adrianne and Megan are lookin pretty hot. One piece jean suit with jewels.... sooo sexy!

I almost forgot about the "cool club!" Tell me how this picture is not cool?

Megan and I went to Hawaii right before I got married and had so much fun. One of my favorite memories is when we went on a hike right after it had rained for a day. The mud was like clay and was sticking to our shoes so we took off our socks and shoes and hiked bare foot. Then it was super muggy so we decided what the heck lets take off our clothes too. No we didn't hike naked just with our sports bra and undies. :)

This post is for you girls! I love you!

Nothing much

Not a whole lot happening over here. I've been in a funky mood the past couple days. I don't know why, I just am. Hanging with the kiddos. I love them so much but sometimes you just need a break and not like an hour break like a whole day or weekend break. Maybe I need a girls night out. Actually, I think I really need a girls night out! Who wants in? Seriously, I am going to get one together. Anyone who wants to come is invited. No kids! I don't know when or what we will do but I am thinking it will involve ice cream! YUM!

Random Shenanigans

-I had surgery on my foot 2 weeks ago and I am finally able to walk semi normal. I don't have to wear that hideous boot anymore. Woohoo!

-We had some really good friends Jason & Bridget come to town this last weekend and we were able to play with them. We went to Bonnie Springs and hung out there Sunday afternoon and it was beautiful outside. We went to the petting zoo, took goofy pictures, rode the train and watched a "hangin."

-We went to the Valley of Fire for a picnic with Aaron's family on Monday and had a blast. The boys and kids hiked up rocks and explored, the women went for a walk (because I am still a semi-gimp so I couldn't hike), ate lots of yummy food and relaxed.

- I got the job at Target!

- Lincoln could not be any cuter! His favorite thing right now is his jumparoo.

- Ezra is as crazy as ever! He started joy school and loves it.

- Aaron started school and is definitely keeping busy with his eighteen credits. So, he tries to relax every once in a while.

Busy bee

I was sitting here today thinking about the last month. As much as it sucks that Aaron lost his job, it was nice to have him home. We were able to spend some good quality time together. I am grateful for that time together even though Ezra is having daddy withdrawls today! Looking into the next couple months we are going to be busy. Aaron stared school today and is taking 6 classes. He is trying to graduate in December which means this year he will not have a life! Ezra is starting joy school this week and I just signed him up for soccer. My good friend and I are going to be the coaches! I am so excited! And there is a Target opening up by my house and I just applied for a job. Haha I don't know why I think that's funny but I do. I actually have an interview tomorrow so wish me luck. I like to be busy so I can't complain! When I have nothing to do, I get lazy. What a good way to start the new year!

5 months old

Where the heck has time gone? Lincoln is 5 months old, yesterday! I can't tell you how much I love this little guy. He has brought such a wonderful spirit into our home.
He is wearing size 3 diapers now. I just started him on rice cereal like a week ago and he loves it. He didn't really need it but I did (Nursing every two hours can get really old). He is mostly in 6 month clothes. He rolls from is tummy to his back. He loves his jumparoo. His eyes are still green. His favorite person is Ezra. Ezra just has to walk into the room and Lincoln will start laughing. His hair is finally starting to grow! Still no teeth. Oh like 3 weeks ago he decided it would be fun to get up in the middle of the night and play. Yeah, he does that every night now! I knew it was to good to be true when he was sleeping through the night at 4 weeks.
We love having him in our family! I am really enjoying the baby stages!

Favorite things from 2008

My favorite things of 2008 are:

Ezra's first time to Seaworld. Aaron and I had fun but Ezra wasn't so sure about it. Also Ezra's first time to the beach where he was old enough to enjoy it. He loves the beach!

Ezra's 3rd birthday. I remember thinking "holy cow I have a 3 year old!"

Making our family a little more complete.

My brother got married! I love Whitney!

Sucessfully potty training a toddler! Even if he still goes in public at least it's not in his pants! I don't know if you can tell from the pic but he had to pee in the snow. Haha good times!

And just spending time with family and friends! 2008 was a great year... for the most part. Time is flyin and we are enjoying the ride! We are excited and a little nervous about 2009 so bring it on!

Mud run

We just signed up for the Camp Pendleton 10k mud run on June 6th 2009! Aaron got to do this last year and I coudn't because I was pregnant. This run looks so fun! The Mud Run is a challenging 10K run with hills, tire obstacles, river crossings, two 5-foot walls with mud on both sides, tunnel crawl, slippery hill climb, and the final 30-foot mud pit. I am soooooooooooo excited! You all should sign up and we should go together! Just google Camp Pendleton Mud run and it will pull it up. Seriously, don't miss out on the fun!! It fills up really quick so sign up now!
