So, I'm not sure how many people read this thing. Mostly it just gives me something to do. Anyways, My latest craze has been watching Downton Abbey. The second season is almost over and the new season won't start up till next year! Alas, what am I to do?! Seriously, It's been a lot of fun getting to know these characters and all the complicated webs they weave. The writing is brilliant and engaging. The acting is very well done, and the costumes and art direction are amazing. All I want to do now is have a fancy five-course dinner and then after dinner the men stay in the dinning hall and smoke their cigars and drink whiskey and the women go off to the parlor and gossip and then the men finally join us in the parlor and we converse for a while and then call it a night. Doesn't that sound wonderful? I'm thinking this may need to happen soon.
