Baby Lou!!

Our baby girl is the happiest baby ever!! She smiles at everyone and is rarely grumpy. And I must say smart too. I took this picture the other day when she opened the pantry door to find her bucket of cookies. She was so excited!! Of course she got a few because she was so dang cute.
Although we think she is the cutest I have to admit she grossed me out the other day. Well, as you may know Jake is a collector of bugs and when I found Kelsey playing outside with a lump in her cheek I was hoping it was a rock. But nope, it was a snail she was sucking on!!! And what was worse were her slimy green fingers she had been poking it with!!! Yuck!! Sorry no pictures of that event!!

Happy Father's Day

We had a great Father's Day weekend. I am so blessed to have a great father, a wonderful father-in-law and the best Daddy ever for my kids!!! Dodd is very patient, playful and loving with the kids. They love him so much!
Saturday we went to Dodd's parent's and had a nice visit with them. The kids love the trampoline... even Kelsey did it!!

Brooke's last day of preschool

Today was Brooke's last day of preschool. There was a big party with jolly jumps and a reptile show. All the families went and enjoyed a potluck. Brooke has done so good at preschool. She started the year crying every morning and was very shy. Now she loves going and is more confident! We love teacher Teresa.... She is the Best! Brooke also did many things during the year at preschool. She went to the pumpkin patch, the beach, a pony farm and more. To see more of these pictures visit

Jake and his Buddy

My little Jake is ALL BOY!! His favorite thing to play with is bugs!!! He loves snails, worms, rollie pollies, you name it. He loves them all. This is a picture of him and his snail who he named Buddy. He says "look mom, he loves me. He loves me mom," as he lets it crawl up his arm. Lucky for him we have no shortage of snails at our house.

Today was especially exciting for him. Dodd and I took him to a bug museum a couple of weeks ago where we got a caterpillar and a millipede. The caterpillar who Brooke named Nick Jr. came out of his cocoon today!! Jake was so excited when we came home this afternoon and he found a butterfly. Camping out with Dad

Friday night the kids and Dodd went camping.... in our front yard!! It wasn't very far from home but the kids thought it was the best thing ever. They were so excited. Needless to say I slept inside,
