11 Months

Time needs to slow down!!  Gage is growing up so fast! He loves to pull the cord to the vacuum while I vacuum (he laughs so hard!), He trys to push the babysitters vacuum around her house, Growls at everything, we attempted to wean Gage from his binky and failed miserably, took his 1st steps, burned his hand on the oven, 1st tooth coming in on his bottom jaw, has had 3 bruises in the same spot on his head, LOVES to eat ham, bread, and drinks water like it is going out of style.  He doesn't take a bottle as much, he throws everything over his shoulder, waves occasionally to people, he likes kiwi, and juice.  He says mama, dada, and baba.  He started to walk a couple weeks before he turned 1! He has had 4 hair cuts.  A friend let us borrow her walker and Gage pushes that everywhere. He loves it!! He loves the dogs especially Jaxsen and hopefully someday the dogs will like him back.  Gage is such a happy kid.  I can't imagine life without him.

EASTER!

This was Gage's first Easter and the poor kid had an injured hand so he couldn't even enjoy the nice weather and the sand.  We went with a big group of friends to Coral Pink Sand Dunes.  It was so nice and not as crowded as it has been in the past.  Gage had a great time and Kyle was even able to get me to go on a razor ride.  I had to leave Gage with Lindsey but I knew he was in good hands and it was so nice to go for a crazy ride on the razor.

We came home Sunday morning just in time for Gage and I to go to church.  He looked so handsome in his new church clothes!! He was pretty tired from all the traveling.

After church I had Gage do a mini photo shoot and was pretty cute.  He liked the easter eggs so much that he got to keep some of them out past the holiday. Get ready for picture over load!!

I know there a lot of pictures but as his mom I have to say he is cute in all of them and I just can't pick a couple to put on here.  He has such a fun personality it is hard to choose a picture.

Gage N Stoves Don't Mix

Poor Gage burned his hand while at the babysitters.  She was cooking dinner and he came over and stuck his hand in between the oven door and the drawer.  Never would have thought it would get really hot but we learned our lesson.  I felt bad for Gage and the babysitter.  She felt horrible and checked on him often.  Gage's hand turned out just fine.  We put some cream on it and kept a bandage on it and he ended up only having a little scar on his ring finger.  It will be a story he can tell when he is older.

He got blisters on the tips of his fingers, one on his ring finger, on his middle finger and also on his hand by his knuckles.  He was a trooper tho cuz he never bothered the blisters and it never seemed to hurt him.

Trip to Grandma's House

Gage and I went up to see Grandma and Grandpa Bleazard and all the cousins.  Kyle wasn't able to come with us since he had to work.  We had good time and it is always nice seeing family since we live so far away.  We had to make a stop in Provo so Gage could get out of the car seat and we could do some shopping.  He likes to sit in the cart sideways so he can see both ways.

Once we got to Grandma's the cousins started coming over.  Claire and Cameron played a lot with Gage and it was fun seeing them include Gage.  Gage was a little too small to sit at the table but he still did it.  You can see his hands and top of his head in the second picture.  Some day he will grow into the chair =)

Claire wanted her picture taken with Gage but just as I got my camera ready he started to stink as you can tell =)

Gage sure loves his vienna sausages.  I'm just glad he will eat something!

He also tried apple slices and would just suck on them.

Gage sure loved spending time with Grandma.  He would get toys and books and sit on her lap.

While Gage was playing with Grandma I got to go down on the farm with my dad, brother and nieces and nephew.  It was fun watching them and remembering what it was like when I use to help out.  We went down into the calving pen to tag some calves.

A few years ago my nieces and nephews got to raise a calf and then named her Amy.  I'm still not sure if I should be honored or what but it was fun finding her.  She is so tame and lets the kids pet her.  My brother also tagged her calf.

On our way home Gage and I stopped for some ice cream in Scipio and also went to see the "petting zoo" they have right there.  They had some pretty cool animals. One looks like a cross between a donkey and a zebra.

This is definitely not my best moment in style but who cares.  I was comfy for the ride home.  There were some people there nice enough to take a picture of us next to the animals.
As always we had a great time with family and it was really hard to leave. We can't wait till we can go back!
