8 Months Old

Gage is 8 months old!!  He rolls from his back to his tummy and back to his back.  He loves to stand and have you help him walk around the house, he pulls himself up to furniture and every now and then he just stands up on his own.  he cries when his mom leaves the room, he passes toys back and forth from hand to hand, chews on everything!, he can go from being on his tummy to sitting, starting to pull himself forward, he rocks back and forth when music is playing, and 1 week before he was 8 months he started to crawl!  He army crawls mostly.  He weighs 16 pounds 1 ounce.  He still doesn't eat a lot and has started boycotting formula. He is trying new foods daily.  I have a great babysitter who helps give him new foods to try.  He really likes the banana flavored puffs.

He has had his 3rd hair cut and each time he looks like a little man more and more.  He has so much personality!  He is always happy, very curious, loves his dogs, loves his mom and dad, and goes to strangers pretty well.  Right now it isn't a big deal to me but hopefully he will get the stranger danger sense =)  He loves his babysitters kids and they adore him too.  His eyes are now more hazel and are either a dark blue or a greenish color.  His hair has lightened up a lot but has stayed brown.  He is going to be a handsome little devil =)

Grandma Bleazard

Anna Viola Mitchell Bleazard, age 103, passed away Dec. 24, 2013

Anna Viola Mitchell Bleazard, age 103, of Bridgeland, passed away Dec. 24, 2013, at the Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Sr. Villa.
Viola was born March 12, 1910, in Peoa, Utah, to Ernest Jerome and Amelia Roslund Mitchell. She married Stephen Jack Bleazard March 13, 1934, in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Jack passed away Oct. 23, 1998.Viola grew up in Peoa, Wanship, and Mountain Home, Utah. She later graduated from the Holy Cross Hospital nursing program. She married Jack and together they had four children, Lois, Carol, Janice, and Mike. They lived in Mountain Home on their ranch, and later moved to Bridgeland. She was active in the LDS church, serving in many callings in her Ward and Stake.
She enjoyed crocheting and many of her handiworks are being enjoyed by her posterity. Viola loved flowers, gardening, decorating her yard and home with plants and growing a large garden. She enjoyed camping with her family and fishing in the Uintah Mountains. She was fun loving and happy, enjoying life and especially loving her family. We will miss her fun personality and giggle.
She is survived by her children: Lois (Jae) Rogers, Roy; Carol (Cecil) Hanberg, Bridgeland; Janice (Robert) Steinhorst, West Valley City; Mike (Jean) Bleazard, Bridgeland; 28 grandchildren, 77 great grandchildren, and 56 great-great-grandchildren, with four more on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 10 siblings, her husband, one grandson, and one great-grandson.

Grandma Bleazard was an amazing lady.  I absolutely loved living next to her and my grandpa and was usually found over there.  She made the best chocolate chip cookies, rice pudding and of course had many other treats.  I always teased with her that I wanted her to stick around to meet my kids and she did get to meet Gage.  She was fascinated by him.  Always playing with his feet because they were cold, telling me she wished she could babysit him, and just simply smiling at him.  I will miss her but I'm sure she is so happy to be with her family and Grandpa.  I'm sure it was an amazing reunion and Christmas for her.  Love you Grandma!!!
