Events in Early September

We had a big storm and afterwards this beautiful rainbow showed up.

The boys did it!  They had a goal to ride their bikes 100 miles this summer.  Guess what, they did it, even after Mom and Dad's bikes broke down, they kept going around the block many many times!

One of the rewards!  Doughnuts.

Rex's first day of 1st Grade.

Spencer's First day of Fifth Grade.

Zachary's first day of 3rd Grade.

We loved the Brigham City Temple Open House! What a wonderful opportunity for the boys to see inside of the temple.

They all said they really enjoyed it!  And felt the spirit that resides there.

Aren't they a great looking bunch!

A family of True Aggies!  Just hours before watching USU beat UofU!

They boys had fun climbing on the A.  We are excited for the day when they kiss a girl here and become True Aggies!

Other Fun Activities

Spencer and the Weblos got to go to the new Farmington Library and see how it is being built and the new technology of thermo technology which they're using to keep it cool in the summer and warm in th winter.

O.k. so there's a couple of things wrong with this picture.  1) Mom and Dad are not taking this picture.....the boys had stolen the camera.  If you're going to do something you know is wrong, don't document it!  2) Rex is in the air, meaning, he had to jump from something....MOM'S SEWING TABLE!....

Soccer Season is in full swing.

Brandt is not afraid to get in there and push and pull on a few shirts.

Brandt has really caught onto the life of soccer and he's doing pretty well for his age!

Camping at Lost Lake

Dad enjoyed sitting in his chair while the boys played.

The boys enjoyed playing Hide and Go Seek.

Not everything is a success...like these overly crisped biscuits in tinfoil.

Even Brandt thought the crisped biscuits were overcooked.

Zachary learning a little chopping skill.

They really enjoyed playing with their cousin Josh around the Provo Falls.

A pretty view of the Provo River Falls.

The boys having more fun with their cousin.

We even fished at Lost Lake....can you believe we found it?

The boys ate the fish so fast, I could hardly peel it off the bones before they had it in their mouth.

Again, Amy Lou and Amy (sister) had the crafts ready for the boys to do.

There was success in our peach cobler in a dutch oven.  MMMmmmmm...it was good!  Alan and Spencer make a good cooking team.

Camping at South Fork

I've lived in Utah and never known about Devil's Slide.

Getting ready to make our first run down the river.

Our campsite.

The boys really enjoyed being able to sit around the campfire.  Now all of our chairs smell like smoke when we go to the soccer games.

This is the mess the racoons left. You can see they ate anything and everything that they could get into.

Mom is always prepared with fun activities. Rock painting!

Then we had fun doing boat painting.

Then we let the boats go down the river.

Bear Lake Camping with Browns

We had to stop for raspberry shakes at Bear Lake.  Oh, and they were good!

To me this looked kind of like the Sea of Galilee. But not so, it was our camping trip to bear lake.

Check out this mushroom!  We found this while hiking.

Shumways and Browns just hanging out in a tree.  This tree was hundreds of years old.

Check out the trunk of this tree.  They say it grew this way because of the winter snow.

Having fun hiking with the Browns.
