some random thing since im so bored of studying.. apparently you can fool your proprioception, by making your muslces go into spasm! the book says you can stand next to a wall, and with one of the arm parallel to the wall (that means, not having to raise the arm), push hard against the wall for around 30seconds. and after that, when you look down at your arm, the arm would be above the position you thought it to be at!
haha i never tried it.. so i have no idea if it works ;p

am supposed to be reading schistosomes.. but just heard a couple of chinese songs which made me think back to the start of m2 thereabouts.. hmm, and its amazing how from 7 months ago till now, quite many things have changed.. i cant decide which i like better, then, or now.. but surely, i treasure everything that i have now.. and of cos, im glad to see my friends so happy too! haha hope you know im talking about you ;p

Hazel's 21st birthday was on 21st march at her new condo! which was really far away..somewhere in the far west of bukit batok! haha

it was a day of 2 wrong bus stops and 4 scoops of ice cream..

i dont understand why bus signs are so unclear! there was 70# at the esplanade bus stop, but they freaking dont tell u what # stands for! am i suppose to know it?? later i found out that 70 does not go to that bus stop at the time i was at the bus stop! alright, so i started to walk.. and then at the suntec convention centre bus stop, the sign had 70 (without any # or any other symbols) next to it! so it made sense that 70 goes to that bus stop.. right?? cos i thought to myself that there wasnt any # (or any other symbols) next to the 70 number.. and there i was, waited stupidly for 20mins, before realising that the bus was taking too long to come! so i asked some security guard there, who later told me that 70 only goes to that bus stop on weekends!! i was like WTF?!?! i wasted so much time! and the strange thing is that, the bus stop did not even put a notice to say that 70 only stops at that stop on weekends!! how commuter-unfriendly!
am i really supposed to know all these things abt crazy weird bus times?? like seriously?
one day when im free-er, i shall write in a letter to complain to them to do something abt their signs! its not the first time i got lost of their lousy signs at their bus stops! =/
if any person from SBS transit (i think thats what the company is called) reads this, i hope u do something abt it! its highly annoying and i wasted one hour of my life walking around and waiting at the bus stops!
or maybe im just not cut out for taking buses.. hmmmm.. haha

on the otherhand, i had 4 scoops of ice cream today!! mmm....

i want to update this blog because i feel like typing on the laptop, but i dont know what to write about. im not feeling happy enough to make this entry sound happy, neither am i going to write something that will bore everyone to death. i shall just talk about today. i bought about $160 worth of things today, and that is after spending quite a bit yesterday as well. so yes, i have been spending a lot of money. and before even i myself get bored of what i am typing, this is some interesting thing that i heard on the train today.
this boy (whom i think is in upper primary or lower secondary), asked his mum a math question which he claimed to have solved it himself during some enrichment math class. he made a bet with his mum that everytime the mum gets the answer wrong, his pocket money would increase by a dollar a day. so the question was, "if there are 2000 lines on the same plane, what is the maximum number of intersections that can exist?" and his mum had 10mins (set by her son) to solve the question.
the mum gave many wrong answers, and after when the boy said that his pocket money has now amounted to $5 a day, the mum called the grandma to help solve the problem, and claimed that she never made a bet with her son.
it was just so amusing when the boy had to add that "mummy, i am smarter than u!"
the whole time, i just sat in my seat and watched the mother and son pair, occassionally trying to catch a glimpse of the boy's math worksheet (on which the answer was written) till i got off at my stop. but sadly, i couldnt see the answer, nor did i get to hear the final answer.
haha it was a cute train incident that actually brought a smile to my face. i didnt think about the math problem again after that as i hurried out of the train station and into my dad's car, but seeing as how boring my next few days are going to be, maybe indulging my brain in some math exercise might do it some good.
but for now, its time for another episode of House.

a 2nd attempt at going to swim in the morning has failed, and hence, im once again sitting at my com (what a sedentary activity to do) blogging.. blame the sun.. its not ard this morning.. and i can almost imagine myself jumping straight out of the freezing swimming pool water the moment i enter it.. in this way, i guess i wont be late in meeting people later haha..

last fri was spent lazing on the beach.. it was a very hot and sunny day!

we RAN across the bridge cos the wooden planks were seriously hot! stopping long enough only to take a pic.. some primary school kids were on some excursion to sentosa (fri being the last day of term for them) and they counted the number of wooden planks on this suspension bridge, it was apparently ard 400! hmmm haha a bit dubious i think ;p

while claire and i went for a walk.. weili and xq were well, just sitting under a tree ;p


we then decided to go into the water.. but weili didnt join us at first cos he was talking to diane on the phone! =P

btw, weili is like so totally obsessed with those abs in 300! =/ i think he secretly wants to have a body like Gerard Butler ;p

on a sidenote, i cant sleep a lot nowadays.. strange =/ used to be able to sleep 10 or more hrs a day when i was studying.. now that im not studying (yes, still slacking =/ ) i only can sleep the most 6 or 7 hrs.. i want to be able to sleep more!

im gonna listen to fei lun hai songs again =) hee..

yest was bevan's 21st birthday! =) it was held at Carlton hotel.. and the food was not bad la! i ate so much! but strangely, i ate so much of the appetisers, salad, and desserts..i didnt really eat the main courses! ;p haha oh well.. the nicest dessert has gotta be the molten chocolate cake thing that we ate at the end!! when u cut open the cake, warm chocolate just oozes out! wow! it was really really gd!!! ;p

HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY bevan!


the past few days have been so relaxing and rather fun! a huge change from the many weeks before CAs which were just spent facing stacks and stacks of notes..
on the day that microb CA ended (which was so so shitty!!), we went to eat at this italian place at shaw centre.. the food was alright! and after that, walked around orchard while waiting for weili to cut his hair.. then went to the IT fair! it was crowded!! haha i bought speakers and a mouse, which are both white!! =) i love white things! my mouse is so pretty with a flower on it too =)

went sentosa the next day for an afternoon of pure relaxation and lazing around the beach! it was fun just lying on the beach, soaking in the water, running across the suspension bridge (cos the planks were so hot and unbearable to walk barefooted on ;p ), and then onto the southernmost point of the asia continent as well! =) we were all just lazing around and time really just flew past so fast! haha i want more of these lazy days!! =)

on sat i watched 300! at first when i saw all the spartans people, i couldnt believe that their abs were real, and i had to ask sr who was seated next to me =P hahaha! amazing!! apparently gerard butler had to train so hard for those abs, that he's taken to walking ard his hse topless to show off his 8 packs!! ok, the fight scenes were actually not bad too! oh oh! and i think the guy who played King Xerxes (some brazilian actor) has a rather pretty face!! ;p his eyes esp! haha
met up with the queen diva pooja shah after that for some shopping and dinner =)

that's abt it! i shall enjoy myself a bit more first before the reality of "oh shit, there's no time left for studying" hits me! haha in the meanwhile, im happy living with my half-ignorant state of mind.. but i better better get down to some serious studying -soon- =/

im just falling asleep and i feel like giving up! my brain is just refusing to absorb anymore information.. i need more memories to be formed!! and im starting to regret how i managed to waste sat and sun away sleeping and watching hana kimi and going out for dinner =/
