yuehan's 21st birthday

yuehan celebrated his birthday on the 16 of feb at his house.. and the theme was Headgears =) the initial plan was to make those who didnt wear a headgear do some forfeit.. but i think it didnt happen.. haha

yuehan's parents made him a video/slide show thing that was really sweet! haha it showed cute and silly pictures and videos of him from when he was a really young boy till now! i think if my parents did that for me, i would have like just teared or something.. haha but they wouldnt cos they dont even know how to use computers ;p
and his parents got him a credit card as his 21st birthday present! =)

haha after yuehan's party, me yl anna ian darius went out! and it was quite a night to rem ;p

its the 3rd day of chinese new year and im up early! listening to like A1 songs! omg haha yes, that band from eons ago ;p
chinese new year was just rather ok this yr! nothing fantastic.. started with reunion dinner at my paternal grandma's side on new year's eve.. which was as usual, a bearable, if not rather boring affair.. but we had abalone and shark's fin soup made by my grandma, which was i guess, the saving grace of the whole evening haha.. she didnt make any pineapple tarts or keuh bangkit this yr, and all the other imitations (made by some of my other relatives) were not great! i always look forward to her kueh bangkit, but sadly there were none this yr =(
on the first day of chinese new year, i couldnt wake up! haha so we left the house late, which wasnt such a bad thing after all ;p then went over to my paternal grandma's house to bai-nian =) chomped on so much bak-kwa and ate some mee-sua thing (which was quite nice ;p ) haha then we went to soe temple.. and after that went to my maternal great-grandma's house! where i just lazed ard and watched tv..
in the evening my uncle and my grand-aunt came over to my place, and we played mahjong!! haha i would have won a bit of money, if not for the zhi-mo and wu-tai win that my grand-aunt made at the very very final round!! haha but in terms of money losses, i lost less than my dad and my uncle ;p not bad huh! for being the youngest at the table.. maybe i just had a lot of luck! but it was so exciting! i almost gamed with a full colour! its like si-tai!! ;p but my grand-aunt beat me and gamed with something smaller.. haha..
i remember last time when i was younger (yes, i feel rather old haha) my grand-aunt and uncle and grandma would come my place and play mahjong! and all i did was sit beside one of them to watch them play, not knowing what was going on! haha and if my grand-aunt won money, she'll drive down to my place the next morning again and bring us kids to have mac's breakfast ;p haha those were the days where there was a mac's within walking distance of my house.. ahh haha ok reminiscing makes me feel old! =P

alright, today's gonna be a fun day!! haha hopefully not too tiring as i go round visiting people and have people visiting my house..
xin nian kuai le people! =) its the year of the PIG! *oink* ;p

time to write on my not-so-nice-looking blog now..
came back from reunion dinner.. hmm somehow, this year's chinese new year doesnt even feel like one! nvm, im sure it'll get better with all the visitings thats gonna happen over the next few days, and the chomping down of pineapple tarts (i bought very nice ones!!! ;p ) and kueh bangkit and sugee cookies and peanut cookies and love letters and kueh lapis etc etc etc!! haha

\on the morn of her bday (which was feb6), we went to her hse and brought a cake for her! haha

and of cos, our dear princess is still in bed ;p


we then went to the dining room and waited for claire while she changed.. then we finally cut the cake =) it was really delicious! haha


then we ordered MacDelivery and had Mac's for breakfast..

then she saw the COACH paper bag! and proceeded to quickly open the packaging!! =P haha i bet claire was just very very excited!!


and A-HA! the nice orange COACH bag which claire has been eye-ing for ages!! ;p and this, btw, was the last piece in the whole of spore =P haha!

it was a tragic day today!! so tragic that it was rather funny! a series of shites events happened to me the moment i got out of house, until i left orchard.. ahh.. i dont feel like typing everything.. but those who heard abt just died laughing! how sympathetic my friends!! ;p

anyway, it was su ai's 21st birthday party today!! =) went to her hse for dinner, cos her mum cooked a bit of food =) the birthday cake was nice!! and su ai was just so so shy when asked to make a speech, that she just swayed and swayed ;p hahaha!! anyway, it was quite ok la the party.. talked and laughed and hung out with my jc classmates!
after that went to al-azhaar with yl anna ian ks pooja to eat!! (again! ;p) ian claims that everytime he goes out with us, he breaks his healthy-diet! ;p tskk.. haha but unhealthy supper is rather nice! =) ok, so it was a fun night with greaatt company!

OH!! and grey's anat is sooo nice!! ive a new favourite song (for now! ;p ).. its from grey's.. called Fidelity, by Regina Spektor.. think its the opening song in grey's ep12.. its such a nice song!

ok time to sleep.. long day tmr again actually.. heh

haha its 830am in the morning!! and im awake! trying to read through notes that we left un-read last night cos was too sleepy and eyes were closing and hence, fell asleep =/ haha ok, i shall wish myself and everyone else all the best!! haha but i doubt anyone will read this before genetics ca anyway ;p ok, i gotta change and leave the hse soon-ish, if not i'll be late for the test!! what a retarded post..

dunno why im suddenly thinking of all the friends i have.. haha not that im feeling sian-ish or down.. (maybe its cos ive just written a letter to a dear friend ;p ).. but im feeling really blessed by all the people who have been part of my life, whether in the past, or in the present.. back in mg days, during the jc years, and now in uni.. ive made many friends, all unique and different and really fun in their own ways! and without these friends, i'll have no one to rant to, to share happy moments with, and to laugh with and laugh at ;p
and for that, i really thank God! =) these friends certainly dont appear by chance..
so to all those who're reading this entry (and many others as well)....thank you! =) haha uve certainly taught me much, and made my life interesting!

essential brews

i shall start title-ing my posts! haha oh my, ive been blogging quite a bit recently.. gd for the few ppl who actually read my blog =)

anyway, went to Essential Brews today! haha i think ive been there like 3 times only! and all 3 times, i ate their Apple Crumble.. its really really really nice!!! =) albeit their small serving of ice cream.. the crumble was seriously really crumbly! (like duh ;p ) haha!

other than that, its been a rather normal day..
more studying needs to be done!! my mean, bimbotic, bitchy and wHOre-ish friends!! =P

just came back from wendy's 21st birthday party!

it was really enjoyable! even though the party was a simple affair, with catered dinner in a function room, but it somehow turned out to be great!! guess it was the company of friends that mattered most ;p many photos were taken as well! haha wendy and dawn and whoever has photos must pass to me!! =)
anyway, this is the first party ive been to (so far) with such a nicely thought-out and really sweet and meaningful speech ;p must have taken wendy lots of guts to stand in front of close to 50 ppl, thanking friends and family..
after dinner, many of wendy's friends went up onto a pseudo-stage to sing! dedicating songs to wendy =) how sweet!! and it was just relaxing sitting there listening to ppl sing.. haha then after that was just more talking.. and then toasting to wendy turning 21!! =) and just singing random songs! haha all in all, an enjoyable night!! =)

my 2nd post in a day! actually, in an hr! haha not tt im bored or anything, just didnt want 2 diff things to be in the same entry.. haha.. spent most part of today sleeping and watching tv and watching shows on my laptop and eating! haha have so much cinnabons from claire! ;p
what a slack week this has been! ive gone to sch a grand total of 2 days! ;p feels great ponning lessons.. waking up late on many days.. haha!
tho i was kind of pissy to 2 ppl one night! sorry! =(
my sentences are rather unstructured.. blame the lack of sleep! =P but oh well.. shall leave this post with some photos from my phone taken over the past few weeks..
