this year's christmas has been rather different. but its been alright =) i actually spent quite a lot of today sleeping and driving around..
i had to drive around the east this morning half-awake! its tiring driving so much that i came home and slept for quite long =/ think it didnt help that i was already quite tired to begin with. but i think i know how to go from my house to fort road to parkway to katong and back home! i will not get lost anymore! (hopefully!!)

anyway, axis bar is nice! there was this black singer there who was really really good! he was playing both the piano and the synthesizer together! and he sang so well it was amazing! haha i heard my favourite christmas song too! which was sung rather nicely! ;p it was too bad none of us brought any cameras tonight =(

i dunno what else i wanna type in my utterly boring blog post!
cant wait for my family to get back. its getting rather boring at home. and patho is just not making things better. i think patho is slowly sucking the life out of me.
and yah, you'll never know you'll actually miss someone until they're really not around.

just came back from supper at chomp chomp! yumm! ;p we ate so much! like hokkien mee (which wasnt nice, bought from the not-nice stall cos the nicer stall stopped selling by the time we got there), carrot cake, chicken wings, satay (with like TONNES of ketupat!! =/ ). haha im happy and full now! =)

changi airport..

on june6, i went to the airport cos i was going to new york with xinquan and ian.
(the 2 guys in the photo are my brothers btw. haha new york photos arent in my comp, thats why i didnt post a photo with xinquan and ian, they're in another dvd)














on october14, i went to the airport to fly off to bangkok with claire and mich.



















on november16, i went to the airport again to visit the new terminal 3.




























and today, december18, i went to the airport again.. this time to send my family off to south africa. its 145am now, and they should be on the plane. maybe up in the air already =) hope they have a safe trip and tonnes of fun!
i've been to the airport on quite a few occasions this year. but today has gotta be the most anti-climatic one. haha.

my grandfather was very cute, and kept asking me if i knew my way home from the airport after seeing my family off. haha. and my mum concluded that my grandfather still thinks that im a little girl..

so fast! and year 2007 is coming to an end. i was just looking at photos from last year and this year, and the photos bring back so many good memories! its nice to see everyone's smiling faces! i definitely look older, and so do some other people. i think that as we grow older, we become more sure of what we want. but i miss those days, when we were kids, when we were younger, when we were so innocent and clueless, that we used to be so amused at everything. haha growing up -is- life, and well, i just hope that as each year passes by so quickly, and with 2008 knocking on the doors, that i'll be able to achieve whatever i choose to. i dont think i have the clearest of pictures what i wanna do with my life in the future, but well, there's always someone up there =) and im glad i dragged my lazy ass to church today.

on a side note, i had the most gruelling 20mins train ride home today! my head was so heavy and my muscles so tired that i really sat down on the mrt floor for a stop cos i couldnt take it =/ i dunno. something happened to me. bad tummy, and fever. but i should be well after a good night's sleep soon.

i hope i get through these 2 weeks of studying. how sian. i need the ultimate of all discipline to sit myself down to study man. life sucks shit sometimes.

i wanna put photos up. but i seem to have a lack of them. reflects how boring my life has been recently!!! =/

this is the most tired i've been so far this whole week. think its partly due to the fact that its almost the end of week, plus the ortho clinical test i had in the morning =/ which also reminded me why i like that particular hospital quite a bit! the environment feels gd. i cant place a finger to any one thing that i really like about the hospital, except that it has a rather home-ly feeling. haha not that i would wanna get warded there myself. but its so far one of the nicest, if not, -the- nicest hospital i've been posted to so far.
well, the test was alright. not fantastic. just ok. haha we were quite nervous and scared at first. till we saw some familiar m5 students who told us our examiner is soo nice! and that we'll surely pass. so haha. we were put to ease slightly.
anyway, i saw familiar faces today at that hospital again! haha.

so that concludes another day in my boring life.

i have nothing to write on my blog. shall just randomly string a few sentences together so that this blog doesnt rust and die.
i havent been studying for so many hours liao. just felt sian after hearing what some people got for their tests. and i freaking dunno what to study! its like study so much if i cant remember on that day also pointless! but then again, if im not gonna study, then its gonna be worse! ok, im confusing myself, and everyone else =/

anyway, im quite glad that some friends actually still bother to keep in touch and meet up when they're back in spore =) heh! if you guys read this, you know who you are! it brought a smile to my face today!

i've been hearing christmas songs virtually like everyday! haha and im glad christmas is coming! somehow even though i know i wont be able to enjoy it much, but i still cant wait for christmas to come. and yes, jingle bells rock! haha.

what a random entry. anyway, i just wanna end off by saying i cant wait for thursday and friday to be over!! more importantly, i cant wait for the weekend to come!!!!

im always doing stupid things and not studying the day before any test or exam. haha blasted pharmaco test tomorrow. im not the least bit scared, im just not bothered =/ oh no. its the effect of having too many tests that has led to this apathetic feeling about tests. just had ortho osces on sat, now pharmaco test on tue. and before i can catch my breath again, there's gonna be more ortho tests next week. no wonder my arms are aching (literally) cos i've been struggling to keep afloat.

with nice happifying music playing in the background, its no wonder my mind just wanders off. thinking about anything and everything except pharmaco.

haha secret santa. first time i've heard about it today. christmas is coming! christmas songs are playing everywhere!! i really love christmas songs! and i love the christmas season!

booooooo..

i cant believe that i took a nap for 2 hours, and woke up with a horrible runny nose instead =(
siigh. this is the after-effect of having too little sleep for too many days.

the lights in orchard are so nice! its been quite a while since i've been to orchard at night. and i quite like the christmas lights this year! its mostly white (well, a tinge of blue-ish maybe?) with some purple flower or star things i cant remember. but basically, i quite like them! haha they follow the Nutcracker theme. some ballet thing with the song written by Tchaikovsky (haha i hope i spelt this correctly). anyway, it was a nice feeling to stand along the side of the road admiring the lights! =) =)

its been a tiring week. im just so glad today is friday! but it doesnt make a difference cos i still have to study tmr and sun and the next many weeks =/ well, at least the week ended well!! enjoyed today tonnes!! =)

but help. i've too much to start studying. haha

the day was mundane..boring. sian sometimes. alright other times.

i was very happy that day when i saw the beautiful sunset across the field of airplanes. and behind where i stood admiring the sunset, was a double rainbow =)

havent seen such nice sunset in singapore for a long time.

so this is our last day in bangkok =( felt quite sad that we were gonna leave bangkok, cos it means no more cheap food and nice shopping and nice hotel and slack days!

haha we really didnt wanna get out of bed that morning. the bed was really comfortable! (think i've said this before in previous posts). and no, mich and i did not share a same bed =/ haha anyway, its quite a funny photo!















so after we checked out and dumped our luggage at the hotel, we went to do massages/manicures/pedicures. haha i didnt wanna have a massage, so i went to walk around by myself after i did a pedicure. i walked around siam square, walked to MBK, chanced upon some small mall, walked to siam discovery centre etcetcetc. basically i walked a lot! and bought a lot of things at the same time =P

haha something really interesting happened on the way back from MBK. i walked through siam discovery centre, or the shopping centre close to it (i cant really remember). but suddenly i heard and saw this group of screaming girls! haha i was quite boliao and curious so i walked over to take a look. in the end it was ClickFive! haha they were in bangkok! so i err followed the other screaming fans and took out my camera, and managed to capture some shots of them =) hmm i've no idea who the individual members are though.



















and this is some cute bun thing that i bought!! haha dunno what this animal is. some porcupine? or cat? i've no idea! but it was really yummy! it had custard cream in it. but what made me buy it was cos it was so cute! couldnt resist buying it =)














we got to the airport quite early! the airport is revamped and looks really really nice! the ceiling is high and the whole place looks very spacious and clean!














haha and since it was our last dinner in bangkok, we decided to splurge! ;p so yes! the food was yummy! albeit a bit ex. haha. we ordered so much food! its a wonder we managed to gobble down everything. we had like tomyum soup, some coconut chicken thing, pad thai, pineapple rice and fried chicken with rice!!

heh looking at all these photos makes me miss bangkok even more. not only because of the cheap shopping and yummy food, but because of the excellent company! miss hanging out and slacking and relaxing and eating and going for massages and spas! glad somehow we ended up going to bangkok even though it wasnt our original plan. and glad that we stayed in such a nice hotel! haha thanx thanx claire and mich!! =) love you guys tonnes!

sometimes i wonder.. if it really pays to be nice to people. some people dont even appreciate it, whereas others expect you to do things for them (hence, it doesnt constitute as being nice).
at the end of the day, i guess i'll just be myself and it people hate it, so be it.

its the start of another week. i had spent most of my weekend sleeping and watching youtube/tv. and im not feeling excited about the new week. its gonna be another boring week. ortho clinics was more fun. wards is just boring =/

anyway, i cant wait for romantic princess episode 9 to come out! its gonna be showing tonight in taiwan i think. haha ahh i wanna watch it! in the show, jin (wu zun) is seriously like the perfect guy! heh.

this was my great-grandma's birthday! we went to mushroom pot at indoor stadium for dinner. haha the food wasnt that that great. maybe they didnt order nice things =P but anyway, it was really nice to see everyone! plus there're some cute memorable pictures to smile at always =) =)

day 3 in bangkok!

it was our last full day in bangkok!

haha and as usual, this is our morning laziness after breakfast - refusing to get out of bed! look at mich the pig!



















we went around siam square that morning, and doing what we do best! - shopping!! haha this is some nice green pandan kueh that mich and i tried!














we went siam paragon after that! and met yinghao and stephrene! siam paragon has the nicest basement of all the shopping centres in bangkok! it has a whole floor of FOOD! those street food but sold in clean stalls. mich's favourite place =) too bad there arent photos of the food stalls cos we were too busy buying too many things to eat! haha i remember that yinghao liked some "orgasmic" kebabs thing! ;p

so this is me in my new haircut. i quite liked it then! but i dunno how to style it that way ever again. anyway, cant really see my new haircut in the photo below.



















after cutting hair, we indulged ourselves in another foot reflexology! HAHA! so fun! i really love bangkok! and all the cheeaapp shopping and food!! =)

this was the night we went to clarke quay area for dinner. incidentally, it was the night eve of halloween, and we saw rather interesting people walking along the streets ;p haha but didnt take photo of them.
