somehow, the song "God will make a way" just sung into my heart today.. dunno for whatever reason.. but the lyrics of the song just made me feel better =)

i guess it's cos i've just embarked on a new journey.. a journey that's so new and foreign.. a journey that's so uncertain, yet filled with a tinge of excitement.. it's my tendency to hold fast to sth that's concrete, sth that will never change.. but life is constantly changing, what was here today, might not be there tmr; what happens today, might not happen tmr.. for me however, there's one true thing, and that's God =)

haha well, i've been finding it rather tough to pick up the momentum to start studying again =/ but i hope i'll get down to doing it soon.. in the last week, i've only studied like for 2 hrs.. which is seriously quite sad! oh well.... =)

after reading diane's blog title of how nothing is coincidental, well, i cannot agree more!

just today alone, sth happened that i thought was really too gd to be coincidental..

for morn worship today, i had to lead songs, and someone was going to give a sharing =) he wanted to share on putting God first in our lives.. so i proceeded to think of a song that will set the tone right for his sharing and all.. and i decided on the song "Seek ye first the kingdom of God"..

the guy who was going to do the sharing had actually thought of singing the song too! (but decided not to tell me the day before this morn's worship cos he wanted to see what song i would come up with..) i thought wow!! then i must have picked the correct song =)

but after listening to his sharing, i was super happy! haha cos the bible verse that he chose was "Seek ye first the kingdom of God....." also!! everything fell so nicely into place, even though the whole sharing and songs thing was not coordinated at all =P

haha the feeling after this morn's worship session was great! and there're certainly no coincidences in these things..

in the evening, there was vcf.. and during prayer at the end of the vcf session, someone quoted the same verse "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God....."!! haha that's like the 3rd time in a day that i've heard that verse/song! hmm it's def not coincidental.. i think God is saying sth =) ahh, God works in ways we cannot see! haha

it's been quite a draining past week, though i actually think it's not cos of the lects, and much less of the studies (since i've hardly even touched my books! =P ), it was more of erm, hanging out with friends, and doing other none study stuff! which was seriously more fun and fruitful than sitting in a lect theatre =P haha

i came home from church today, and slept for 2+ hrs straight, waking up in time for dinner =) haha haven't taken an afternoon nap since sch started i think! and it was an excellent nap.. though i def still am very very sleepy..

fri was a long long long day.. haha had anat pract again but the formalin was esp strong! my eyes couldn't open =P ok it wasn't entirely the formalin's fault.. i was also really really tired.. i mean, pract on the last day of the week? ahh gosh! haha but after that, we celebrated san mei's birthday in nus!! =) haha so FUN!! hope u were happy! went for love mg after that with fish and a lot of other ex-mg girls =) aww, it was really a nice experience! stepping into a sch again that was like a second home for ard 10 yrs was really comforting.. and to see so many friends - some i hadn't seen in ages, was an uplifting and happy feeling! the worship was great, and everyone was really singing and worshipping God =) haha with so much of events, my day hadn't exactly ended.. i went to esplanade to meet yp and some other ppl =) and we had char kway tiao and orh lua for supper at glutton square! =P ahh yp's going to leave on wed for US.. haha oh, was looking at photos on this laptop, and i realise that ac's sch u is sooo nice! =) it really makes one look very smart.. haha ok, after that, april picked me and yp up from esplanade, and me april alvin abi yp went to the airport to send yina off.. yup that's my whole fri..

now come to sat, haha i slept from 830am to 1130 am.. then went to the sports sch for some camp site recce with the camp comm ppl =) ahh, the guy there got quite pissed with us towards the end! haha aiyah, don't bother abt him! =P anyway, ate hershey's sundae pie!! haha felt so sinful after that.. then went to east coast park to cycle with some friends.. and i now know how to cycle without hands! =P haha was learning and trying to perfect it the whole time i was cycling on sat at east coast park =) it was quite fun cycling, feeling the wind brushing past ur face, and looking at the sea! haha the only un-fun part was trying to stay out of ppl's way.. u have like small kids swerving into ur path, u have like friends cutting in and out of ur path purposely, and u have tonnes of ppl walking on the bicycle path =P we bowled after that.. and ahh i was super lousy!! oh well, shan't elaborate on that =P

anyway, sunday! haha church day! and a day of rest!! i'm going back pgp tonight.. ahh even my bro asked me if i've been staying at pgp =P haha shows how gd my attendance has been at home eh? haha alrughty, what a long post, hope u weren't bored!! =)

badminton in e morn! it was excellently FUN!! =) haha i dunno why i love badminton so much.. maybe it's e only racket sport that i can play somewhat decently..

then met fish and diane for a while.. then it was first aid test.. haha i think i can't do cpr on a real-life person.. i might just end up killing that person instead of reviving that person =P hahaha i'm super lousy at cpr.. though i passed the first aid test la.. everyone passed anyway =)

watched must love dogs.. it's okkkk only.. not fantastic fantastic.. considering that i actually fell asleep at the front part right after my subway cookies were gobbled up shows that the show isn't that excellent la =P

had dinner at marche.. where we talked so much! and there was like a major suan-ing session eeps =/ moved to starbucks and sat down and talked again!

after we got up and was walking to get cabs, max asked "will we get saggy butts from sitting too long??" hahahaha! what a qn.. then pooja said that "u'll get saggy butts if u sit down right after an exercise" =/ erps! haha.. what an interesting night huh =P

since i mentioned max and pooja.. i shall mention ian too.. a lot of ppl think he's cute! hahahaha GO ian!! =)

hmm talk less.. that's a nice self-reminder.. that's what i should do..

what a sunday.. did so many things today..

went to church, decided on camp speaker, went to carrefour and marks n spencer to buy stuff, walked from ps to orchard, went to ang mo kio to buy stuff, went home to eat, went to pgp, went out with ap alvin abi yina, back at pgp

haha that basically sums up my day =)

but one thing that i loved abt today was the fact that me ap alvin abi yina could just sit down outside esplanade, along the spore river, and just sing random christian songs =) sth that i'll always cherish - the company of many gd christians.. it's in uni when u realise that there are so many non-christians out there (not that i've never knew this), but being in uni makes it even more evident.. it doesn't help that i was in christian schs for all my life too.. but i guess i really love their company =)

and sth cool happened when we were just singing christian songs! i'll write abt it when i have the time =)

my first time in an anatonomy hall today! haha it was really quite quite fun! =P aside from the boring lecturer in charge of my tutorial grp, anat pract today was quite gd! haha we were playing with the cadavers, pulling out intestines, looking and proding at the body, looking at the upper and lower limbs, learning all the diff kinds of bones (humerus, ulna, radius, phalanges - haha i dunno if the spelling's correct), learning diff kinds of terms (pronation, supination, addunction, abduction, medial, lateral, proximal, distal, palmer etc etc etc).. my first experience with a cadaver.. haha some cadavers were fresh - ie not dissected yet, and boy do they smell of pork, bah kwa, chinese sausages (lap cheong) and many many other descriptions of what cadavers smell of! =P and of cos, with mr tay kae sian in my tutorial grp, my pract session will never be complete without his nonsense ka-chiao-ing of me!! he played with the cadavers (of cos with gloves on), and after that, kept tapping me on my shoulders with the gross gloves!!!!! =/ ahhhh!! hahaha stupid!!

went to watch dim sum dollies after that with fish =) haha the part after the intermission was excellent! very very entertaining! and i really really love the 3 mini dim sum dollies!!!! =P they were really really CUTE! ahhh and they can sing sooo smell! haha child prodigies! =P thanx FISH!!! =)

there's lect at 8 tmr morn.. and on a sat mind u!!!! crap, i won't be home till quite late, hope my nice mum won't mind =/

i love mums and washing machines!

ahh, i'm staying in pgp now, and i really totally appreciate that my mum does all my laundry for me!! imagine i used to wake up in a house full of familiar ppl, familiar things.. now i wake up to new stuff, crammed toilets, and totally unfamiliar surroundings.. oh well.. all first nights are terrible, i just hope things will get better and better! =)

later today, i'm going to have my first anatomy tut or pract.. i get to see cadavers! haha i seriously hope that, for the sake of others, i don't puke on smelling the the formaldehyde =P hahaha! oh well.. i shall find out later..

anyway, had a long and sleepy day.. going to watch dim sum dollies later at night =P

i'm audrey, the owner of this blog, but i'm lending someone blog space to talk nonsense =P ah it's another day in sch tmr.. another long long long day cos we don't end till 6 pm.. and there's this stoooopid first aid test on thur.. it's 38 pages of notes.. and i've never ever done first aid course in my entire life! while some ppl have done like 3? =P haha ok so basically i'm going to fail the 20mcq test if i don't even read through my notes..

as if! puh-lease don't fake audrey!! someone didn't get SEVEN distinctions for nothing. or was it 8 or 6?? anyway she's lending me this space as i'm lending her the entire room. haha. and of course it's my pleasure (: to leave my wonderful prints on this black backgrnd. ums. so rubbish. haiz.... and we're confusing ppl on msn now..

yah confusing ppl like blancheee and dedrick! and some others haha oh crap this is so crappy (sorry for the obvious lack of vocab there =P) oh no.. we better end this now, or else ppl will never ever come visit my sad sad sad blog ever again =(






oh btw, we had sooo much fun playing badminton!!!!! =P we should do it more often! haha since diane only has 7more weeks left in spore =(

haha went for dinner with the usual 8 of us to cafe cartel =) to celebrate my birthday! haha it was quite fun with yl being so crabby, and ian being so bimbotic with his Z-snap, and ben being so blur as usual!

ahhh and it was SUPER embarrassing when the guys sang the birthday song! they sang my name out SUPER SUPER loudly and everyone turned and stared! hahaha but thank u anna and yl for the SUPER nice cake =) it was really really delicious! hahaha yay! i love u all =)

wanted to go for fop today, but then it was too crowded and we didn't manage to go in.. oh well.. haha doesn't really matter =P

yay!!!! float finally ended!!! i didn't do much seriously.. but i'm just glad that everything is over!! and sch's starting on mon ahh.. soon soon =/

it's a feeling of emptiness, of irritation.. the combination of both of which doesn't produce any close to satisfactory results.. probably only the feeling of wanting to be even more sian than the present state..

oh well..

why all this nonsense and rubbish that i have to face?? i bet ppl are bitching abt me.. heh what am i supposed to do?? =/
