haha i've accepted medicine, rejected the ntu scholarship, all in a span of 1 min.. so there, my life is set! i suer hope i made a correct decision.. sigh, it is always tempting to look back and tell urself that u would have done better elsewhere.. but i hope that it won't be the case for me.. it's scary, a 1 min clicking on the offers online and i've made HUGE decisions for myself that i've got to stick with the for rest of my life.. it's a scary thought and i certainly hope i can survive!

there are some things that i've been hoping to get and asked God a few times, but sigh, i think i'll have to wait.. haha life is never ever fair.. i mean i have some privileges compared to other ppl, but there're a few things that i simply cannot have.. it sounds dumb but i've been asking God why can't i get certain things (i sound like a kid huh=P) even though i know that it's all in His plan.. sometimes i think that if we strive too hard to achieve sth that God doesn't want us to have, we still would not get it in the end..

anyway, during small group this morning, abi shared with us a song that i thought was really applicable and encouraging =)

so it is, my relief teaching "stint" that lasted for 5 months, has finally ended! on one hand, i'm quite happy to finally be able to slack, bum, laze ard and feel bored! =P haha well, on the other hand, i think i'm going to miss my classes.. (oh oops, sa3 is missing cos i didn't see them today and i didn't get a class photo of them haha) now it's back to the waking-up-late days!! woah! haha no more having to wake up at an insane hr of 530am for the next 2 months at least! =) i'm quite pleased actually! haha i guess my classes left me some gd memories but it's time to move on =) heh

i was just writing the names of my students onto the fly swatters and i think come tmr, i'll be missing the each name i've written on the fly swatters.. thinking back on the past term, i realised that each class is really unique and different! and that if someone were to ask me to choose a favourite class, i would not be able to name one cos all are simply nice in their own way =) also, i realise that the classes that are the most fun to teach aren't necessarily the classes that are performing the best during tests/exams.. =) haha i really enjoy teaching the classes and it's amaziing that 5 months have passed since i started on my relief teaching job =P well, there are definitely some days/lessons that i'd rather not have in my teaching experience, but that won't be a complete "teaching experience" if i did not get my fair share of lousiness/sianness =P ahaha!

anyway, ac vs rj rugby today and ac trashed rj 23-0! =) haha it was an exciting match and we totally dominated the field!

shall continue blogging tmr.. i'm so tired now and there's tonnes of things to be done tmr =(

funny boy!

oh btw, i just remembered sth that happened in lesson today that was quite hilarious =P i was in class and i got quite angry with one or two students.. after that i started lesson and as usual i wrote stuff on the board.. the girls sitting behind then said that i was blocking the board (which i have a tendency to do so btw =P) haha and so i walked to the light switches there.. and suddenly this boy asked "mdm, are u crying?" hahaha! it was so hilarious! then i asked him why i would cry? =P the class then suaned the poor boy "wah, so concern ah?" or sth to that effect! ahaha! it was so hilarious!

wow! i'm sure i'm going to miss these spurts of funny moments when i stop teaching in ac =P

boredom..

i'm super bored now cos a lot of my church friends are going to climb mt ophir (of which i'm sure if i attempt to climb that mt, i'll be exhausted beyond hope! =P)

anyway, there's a reason to like today.. the med results were out, and i really thank God that i got into med.. it was really really amazing (cos it was not sth that i def was confident of getting) heh but it was a nerve-wrecking feeling when fish smsed to say that she got into med and yet, i was only still on my way home! haha luckily yL remembered to check for me! and when she told me i got into med, i was literally jumping up and down along the side of the roads (that i think all the drivers kind of stared at me =P) ahaha! thanx yL btw!! =)

well, it's the start of a long weekend! time for rejuvenation and rest! and 4 more days of work left! =P thought this day would never come hahaha!

ikea

haha went to ikea after sch and it was too productive! i spent like my day's pay at ikea, buying something that no can will ever guess! look at the pic =) haha those are the stuff i bought, and i bought like 100 of them! everyone was staring at the trolley when i was wheeling them through ikea, it was really really embarrasing! =P haha even the cashier looked dubiously at my purchase! but it was such a hilarious evening at ikea =) not to mention it was a tough decision to make as to whether i should eat the fried chicken wings (i didn't in the end, after looking at the amount of oil dripping from the wings =P) haha every table had a plate of half dozen chicken wings! ikea chicken wings really ROCK! =) anyway i shall stop advertising for ikea!

anyway, much as i can't wait for the teaching stint to end, i can't help but worry what to do with my free time in june.. i know that i'm going to miss my students, each class was so unique and different, and sometimes they do bring disappointments, other times they bring satisfaction.. i guess i'm having mixed emotions abt the ending of my relief teaching "career" =P but well, i'll just treasure whatever time i have left in sch, and enjoy my classes! =) my students are really nice outside class.. only if they could be nicer and more attentive in lessons =P

i dunno if i'm burnt out from working (since like the start of jan!) haha how am i going to survive the harshness of the working world next time?? heh if i, only having worked for 6 months am feeling tired, what's going to happen in the future? so they say, studying's the best days of one's life! i cannot agree more.. u really have got to experience it for urself before u can firmly testify to that statement! =P haha i'm not kidding btw..

alright, so i'm going to miss my students, but i can't really do anything abt it, can i? haha

i really should pray for more patience and tolerance..
