Breaking the norm... Or not?

Is sleeping after 2.00 a.m. even considered breaking the norm now?

Perhaps not yet. I've been living in my own world of altered time, and what's normal for me is not normal for others. But then again, what seems normal for me is suddenly normal for others as well. I just found out that I'm not the only night owl.

Speaking of which, am planning to go to a friend's place later to 'night-owl' the night away for a report. It's this good friend who startled me with the fact that she's becoming a night owl, too. Will probably stay for 3 hours or maybe have a showdown on who can stay awake the longest.

Wait, did I remember to mention that I'm not normal?

Chill. Don't take me too seriously. ;)

March 14, 2015. The last date I actually posted something.

It's November, month of hurried morning laundry due to rainy evenings. The month of adrenaline rush in the middle of lone nights where there's only the laptop to help you with your assignment. The month of new movies which were long awaited. (Crossing my fingers that they were worth the wait.)

The times where I can wake up in the morning with no need for an alarm are long forgotten.

It's moments like these in which I question my sanity. My mind spins and the blood sings in my veins, yet there is an odd desire to stay in place without hurrying. To leave some stones unturned for the sake of it.

I wonder what has become of me.

Time has ravaged what's left of my innocent naivety. I can no longer do what I want to, what I wish to, on my whims.

It's time.

The Shopaholic-Dorothy Analogy

I'm not sure why, too, but this scene just sticks to my mind when compared to all the other scenes. Ha.

"As we speak, interviews are being held at Successful Saving."

"The money magazine?"

"Snort not, sweet child. Alette may be your Emerald City, but Successful Saving could be your yellow-brick road. Dantay-West is a family of magazines that acts like a family. Deeply nepotistic. Ughh. So my advice to you, dear Dorothy, is thus... Once you're in... You're in."

That scene is just so.... memorable. Well it didn't stick the first time because I hadn't read the Wizard of Oz at the time, and after I actually read the book did I realise what he meant. Some things are better left unexplained, but some things are best investigated to satiate one's curiosity. Hmmm. Did I just... Did I just say that? I'm sorry, that was a poor attempt at being all philosophical.

By the way, excellent job by the actor. I mean, was that already in the script or did he think up all those hand gestures by himself? That was really attention-grabbing.
