It is a late entry cos i am sick for the past few days.. i was down with fever, cough and sore throat...

DAY 1 - 22/3/06
Off to korea!! (in departure hall) didnt have much sleep in the plane

DAY 2- 23/3/06
Arrival hall in the morning

we went to Daejangguem theme park where they film Da Chang Jin
we paid for the costumes and took pictures with it.

i think we had lunch after this.. so we eat hotplate beef (i think so). but i didnt eat cos my throat was very very pain. so pain that i cried..no la actually i think i cried cos i very scared that i will be a burden to my family and i cant enjoy the food in korea!!! i prayed to god to help me recover.

then we took a boat ride to Nami island where the lovers in 'Winter Sonata' strolled through the two rows of trees. its very windy there and probably i didnt wear enough clothing and i was very cold and shivered throughout the trip in Nami Island.
there are many two rows of trees but if i am not wrong this is the two rows of trees they strolled through

then we arrive at Myongdong Shopping street. actually i wanted to sleep in the bus cos i was very weak and cold but the tour guide said that everyone must alight cos the bus cannot on the engine for more than five mins when it stops and they will get a fine. so no choice i went out feeling very very weak. didnt have the energy to shop. All i needed was rest. so i slpt in the restaurant we were goin to eat for dinner later.
i was suppose to eat hotplate chicken.. but to recover.. i ate porridge, sesame seeds with some sauce and seaweed soup... so pathetic but the bowl of porridge is VERY BIG. forgotten to take picture of it.. it is abt twice or thrice the size of the normal bowl. i felt better too. maybe because of the medicine the tour guide asked my mum to buy for me. Then my mum bought another bottle of the medicine for me to take at night.

After dinner, we went toilet but the tour grp went without us. so waited for the photographer to bring us to the bus..
then we took a 2hrs ++ ride up to Mt sorak Condo. after i slept.. i felt a lot better and my energy was regained. then we checked in to this condo. tatami style. it has heated floor.

had strawberries for my fruits... so yummmy and JUICY..

DAY 3- 24/3/06
if i am not wrong we had our morning call at 5.30am. so lack of sleep
next morning we had our breakfast in the condo's restaurant.. the waitresses are so pretty and professional. their attire seems like hotel's waitresses attire. then we proceed to Shinheungsa Temple.

then proceed to Mount Sorak National Park.. we had to climb stairs and uneven slopes where they have ropes for support. this is the top view of the Mt sorak National Park

actually we are suppose to have lunch by our own but the tour guide said that it is easier for us to have lunch together. so this is where we ate

then we rent our ski jacket and pants then checked in to Yong Pyong Resort.

Then we changed into the attire and proceed to the ski place and rent our ski equipment. Skiing is so fun...but the sun is strong and the tour guide said that we will perspire later and i felt warm after skiing for a few times. these are some pictures of me and my sis skiing.

We had steamboat for dinner.. i told my dad to take only the food... yet he still took a pic of us with the food

After dinner we went exploring around Yong pyong Resort.. and we found this cafe where the two lovers from Winter Sonata film in.

Then we went to the supermarket. then back to the resort and slp...

DAY 4 - 25/3/06
waking up the next morning at either at 5+ or 6am. my sis and i was late for breakfast...breakfast was in the resort.look at the temperature!!!

then we checked out and proceed to Yong-In Everland Theme Park.
the staff there are sooooo cute... SWEEPERS (cleaners) wear funny looking things on their heads and some carrying cute bags... didnt take the pic. but i got another one... the entrance staff.. oh ya the entrance staff dance and sang some cutesy song... omg...

and when we enter Everland, we took a tour group photo again.. its the the third time and the last grp photo we took..

then we had a short briefing and took a chair lift down..

proceed to on our first ride... Amazon Express... not very thrilling and i jus dun like water splashing on to me when its in winter... this is how it is look like..

and before we board there are two ppl who are so sososososososo funnny. They are micmicking the song and dancing in a weird way..

then we decide to split with my parents and go on our own... But my mum wanted us to try the Safari World... and i was thinking 'What's so nice abt seeing tigers and lions co exist together???' At first i didnt want, but thinking that we dun have much other rides to take so....i joined the queue... THIS IS THE MOST STUPID MISTAKE!!! We waited for like ard 1 hr for it... i tot the queue is only outside but inside... it was so so long.. but there is a cute korean boy to show...

This time we really split up and go on our own way... there wasn't enough time left, only abt 1 hr.. we decided to find a place that sells take aways but the queues are all so long.. till we found a place that looklike Billy Bomber. my sis and i shared a set for two which is called Elvis something something meal.
Then did a last min shopping in Everland. i wanted to buy a hairband that has horns!! cant find it.. =( in Everland there's quite a lot of people wearing cutesy hairbands which has veil, birthday cake or even flowers on it!.. the birthday cake is like 3 inch high and abt 7cm for the diameter. its not patterns of birthday cake or flower! its attached to the hairband..

after that, we proceed to SEOUL to visit the Korean Ginseng shop. then we had Ginseng Chicken soup with glutinous rice and noodles. the noodles are YUMMY!!! the soup too! but luckily i didnt have to taste much of the Ginseng cos theres only a Ginseng piece in the chicken cooked with the soup and the ginseng wine is in a cup so u can pour in how much u want.
Then we went to a Dong Cong Xiao Cao shop.. then checked in to the hotel. this is how it looks like.- typical

DAY 5- 26/3/06
Time for SHOPPING SPREEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
first stop: Doota .. not dota. I bought a shirt... but not for me.. for huixian. so sad!! the shirt is special!AND bought a earring for myself
and we had brunch(breakfast+lunch) before shopping.. they have this in the food court. it is totally cool... like waiting for ur turn to see the doctor.. but this is waiting for ur food to be ready.

second stop: Sinchon fashion street.. er....i bought a size 7 puma shoes and now i regret cos i look like ronald macdonalds in it. so its given to my sis. i cant remember wat else i bought

third stop: MyongDong... i bought the most things there!! we had dinner first. then we continue shopping...
we went to skin food, my sis bought her friend's stuff and i bought nail polish, something for dark circles and removing blackheads
continue walk walk and bought one long sleeve shirt and a jeans skirt. a bag. some more nail polish and earrings... I LOVE SHOPPING! and this is how MyongDong looks like at night. marvelous! too bad i had cough or else i sure will try the $1.60 long ice cream

head back to Hard rock cafe merchandise store.. actually wanted to buy the t shirt... but thinking that its not really worth it.. then forget it. and back to hotel and slp

DAY 6- 27/3/06
Last day in korea~~
oh i almost forgot... what if somebody dun understand anyword there? what they wld think the pic means... =O

and i forgotten to intro a cute little boy who is part of the tour group. i asked him to smile then this i wat he gave me. CUTE!!!!

Then we proceed to Amethyst Factory which they make and sell purple crystals.

actually i was tempted to buy... but i was more interested in the stationery shop downstairs. it sells a colour pencil that has four or five colours altogether. and i bought an onion head pen that has many different colours. its cute !! then i boarded the bus cos my sis said that it looks like everyone is on the bus.... hmmmm... when i board, only the bus driver is there smoking.. its my first time that i was the first person to board the bus... my sis and i was always one of the last..
We had sandwiches for lunch on the bus and at the airport. then we depart from korea~~

In the plane i had fever.... argh.. i made sure i watch finish the movie- Prime. then i rest.. when i reached back home.. i was very very tired. and sick! =(. lucky i was sick on the way back not during the trip again.

the next night i still had fever!!! hate it.. 39.8degrees. thanx to my sis she put cold towels on me..
i cant remember when but a few days ago.. i measure my temp in the morning- 40.2 degrees. i was damn shocked... no one to take care of me.. so i put cold towel on myself and rested with the fan on. after resting for a awhile.. my fever went down by a lot.

actually today i dun feel that i have fever.. and the doctor checked the temp its 37.5. and he said i got fever!!i tot 37.6 then is fever?? he said normal its 37.2... ok since he is the doctor wat can i do..
i juz checked my temp again 38 degrees.. ooh dear.. looks like i still have fever.. =( slight one though. anyway i still feel weak and tired after doin some stuff.. cant wait to recover!!

i only starting packing for the korea trip on sun.... a bit late though.

yest i went yishun swimming complex with jo.. still prefer occ.. too many ppl there.. i dun like it. but i LOVE THE TAN!! didnt get sunburn.. then she came to my house to put the swimming thingies then we went SHOPPING~~~
and we had our simple lunch near my house. $2 for my wanton mee but i was full.
then we went to raffles mrt shopping mall to find my butterfly belt. i found it!!! then i didnt plan to buy anymore things... but cannot help it... and then i go ard shops to find seventeen mag but two shops also said sold out..then the third shop got!!
then we walked from raffles place to suntec. then i was really reallly really thirsty. so we went to carrefour to buy three bottles of 600ml of mineral water. 2 for me, 1 for jo. then we bought sushi... i eat one mashed potato sushi.. argh made me more thirsty. then we went to Candy Empire at millenia walk. so many chocs, sweets and chips but my throat..... haiz. then we went to a accessory shop then we went back to suntec to continue shopping!!! and i bought a temp butterfly tattoo at $1.50.. sld be quite cheap cos the last time i saw was like $2.90-$3.90
after shoppin in suntec, we went home... =)

today after drinking my pa's medicine i felt better... but as i drank more water... i felt i need more water. but kinda heck my throat already cos i want to eat sakae!!! cant wait.. then hopefully i can find a slipper at NUM. thanx to tm hx, pb for 'sending me off' to korea.

and tml i am leaving for korea... and god pls bless me with ok results.... and having dental tml... will blog after i come back from korea.. tata~~~

i went to meritus to collect my yesterday's pay. finally i worked yesterday after 3 mths. this is my ugly uniform... which makes me look like a guy.

then today after collecting my pay i went to IMM to meet my parents. we went to a HK eatery in IMM for dinner... the food is rather interesting. i like it cos its refreshing but my parents dun. then we went to DAISO (always $2) to buy vacuum bags. bought 8 vacuum bags. then we bought a bbq grill to cover my turtle container to prevent from the turtles from crawling out. japanese gds are really very interesting....

wondering wats that?? u see the flowers on the top right hand corner. the petals, the leaves and the fence is made out of the thing that looks like grey fish crackers. they have a few colours there for the different flower petals colour

its juz a box with four papercups to put chocolate. but i dun see this in singapore.. except DAISO.

i didnt have enough time to explore the whole of Daiso. but from what i discover, i think japanese gds are very interesting. cant wait to shop there again!!!
