I am so blessed to have a wonderful father. He is such a generous and kind dad and I love him so much. He loves my kids and spoils them. It was fun to be able to see him this year so close to fathers day.

Happy Fathers Day
Girls trip
Last year we started the tradition of having a annual Glen Ivy trip with our friends around mothers day. We figure it is a great mothers day gift to ourselves. This year not as many people could make it but we still had just as much fun. It is amazing how a day filled with laying by the pool, doing mudd treatments, reading gossip magazines, and talking can go by so fast. It is a much needed day and gets us rejuvenated to go bad to the grind of motherhood....but this year we decided that instead of once a year maybe we should do it twice a year.

Picking Strawberries in Carlsbad
Toy Story
We were so excited to take the boys to see Toy Story 3 at the "Big Movie" as the kids say. They are die hard toy story fans. I bet they watch it on average 4 to 5 times a week (yes I am a good mother and park my kids in front of the TV to get some peace and quite) They boys dressed up in there Halloween costumes for the big event..they loved every minute of it. At the end of the movie Caden started crying, not because it was sad but he wanted to watch it again.
Big Brothers
I was a little nervous how the boys would be around Olivia. My boys are a little crazy and I thought it could be a little scary...but they have been so cute with her. Jake always wants to hold her and sometimes he just sits next to her and stares at her. Caden always asks if he can pet baby olivia. It is so fun to see how the interact with her...they are good big brothers.

Out Numbered
So in May kids have finally outnumbered adults in our household. On May 20th we had our precious baby girl Olivia. She weighed 8 lbs 8oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. It was a scheduled c-section so no surprises. Everything went great with the delivery and we were so excited to finally get our girl.
Here I am getting ready to go into the hospital for my c-section. I was a little sad that I wasn't going into "Hotel Hoag" with the famous spritzers, but this hospital in Encinitas had some pretty good perks. Every night they had a lady that went around and gave foot massages which were to die for, because it is a baby friendly hospital we didn't get the typical diaper bag gift but they sent us home with an awesome spa gift set with a plush robe and body wash.
Here we are just after the c-sectionI am so excited to finally have my little girl here to spoil.
Here is the boys visiting mom and baby at the hospital. Baby Olivia gave the boys some new presents that they were so excited about.
My little angel....I love this girl
Southern Cali Fun
One of the biggest benifts of living in southern california is having so many fun places to go and great weather. This year we were lucky enough to have season passes to Sea World, San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park. The beauty of having a season pass is you don't feel like you have to stay all day to get your moneys worth....all we do is pack up the kids and go somewhere for a few hours or until we have a toddler meltdown then head home. Its great. Here is some pic's from our adventures.
Here is Jake at Sea World with the characters from Sesame Street. Our kids love Seaworld and it is nice because you really don't have to wait in long lines
Ski trip to Utah for Easter
So last year our friends the McDonalds started an annual ski trip to Utah for spring break. We weren't able to go last year but luckily it fit into our schedule this year. So we packed up the kids in the minivan and headed to Utah. The kids were super excited to get to see snow and have a little winter fun. Jake was going to go skiing for his first time but it ended up being a blizzard so we decided not to take him, but Matt and the others had a great day of skiing. That weekend our friends the Dixons offered there house to stay at, and we had so much fun with them.
Dan and Holly have one little girl so they don't have many boy toys, but don't worry but kids didn't let that stop them from having a good time. Matt was a little nervous by the end of the trip
On Easter we went to my sister Kathy's house for Easter dinner and a little easter egg hunt. Here is the boys with their cousin Ricky
Scotland
So here will be the post of all post ( or several small ones)...I have been mia in the blogging world so I have a lot of catch up. So I am going to start off with the beginning of this year.
In February we went to Scotland to visit Matts family and to attend his nephews wedding. We had a lot of fun spending time with our family..even though it was freezing weather. Here is some of the highlights of the trip.
Even though we had some cold weather (well at least for us californians) we did a lot of fun activities outside
The highlight of the trip would be Andrew and Rosslyns wedding. It was a great day and I do have to say my boys adorable in their kilts. Matt was the bestman and gave a great speech. His family did give him a hard time for loosing his accent and using some american lingo.
