Family pictures

So I am not a big fan of family pictures.  Neither are my kids.  We did a trial run to see if I should even bother getting a photographer to take our photos.  Maybe in the spring when its not so cold we will try with a real photographer, instead of just my mom!  (:

Kaels winter party

They made these trees and Kael was so meticulous with how he wanted his tree, the little m&ms are presents all around the tree!


He would not eat his tree either it is still in my freezer!







Such a fun way to end the school day!!  I love going to his parties he kept running up to me and giving me hugs.  What could be better??

Christmas ornaments

Well it has been very busy around here with lots of family and fun going on that I have been neglecting my blog and journal.  During the month of December the kids and I made salt dough ornaments and then we painted them.  The kids loved this craft.  I thought it was very messy and allot of work!  Next year maybe we will try the applesauce version.  Here was the fun...

Emma did such a great job!!  I was so impressed she got up there and wasn't nervous at all.  I was so nervous watching her, but I didn't have to be because she did amazing!!  I am so proud of you Emma you did such a good job!!

Happy Birthday Chris!!

To my little brother!!! His Birthday is December 20th and he lives in Japan and we havent seen them since Aiden was born and we sure do miss them!! We wish you guys lived closer to us!!! ): I hope you had a great birthday Chris I love you and miss you so much. Christmas just wont be the same without you there! ): My brother is such an amazing man. I cant believe I am actually calling my little brother a man, but he is and he has such a good heart and he is such an amazing Uncle to my kids. He always calls them on their birthday, from Japan. That has to be a pretty penny!! But he always makes sure they know he loves them. I am so grateful for him and the generous man that he is. I wish you guys would move back here Chris!! We love you, Shoko, and Timmy and wished you lived closer!!!

Emma had her fourth birthday party last saturday.  We did a Fancy Nancy party Emma loves anything that is Fancy.  So we had the girls dress up in their fanciest attire and come to our house for a fancy little party.

I didn't make a cake I did ice cream cup cakes instead (the clean up on those were great)

Every girl that came got their picture taken and then we decorated picture frames for them to take home.  we put fancy things on them like button and feathers

Emmas friend Megan got her this princes memory game and everyone wanted to play so that is what they are doing!!

There were a few meltdowns along the way Emma thought that she was now five because she already had a birthday one wednesday so she must be turning five today.  Nope and boy was she disappointed about it.   I love this little stinker so much.  I just cant imagine my life without her in it.  She brings to much to the table and I am thankful to my Heavenly Father in blessing me with this adorable, rebellious, strong willed, sweet, and sometimes kind little girl.
