This is another *?#!*$#@ tag! Hopefully people will start running out of ideas for tagging!!

Start a college fund for each grandchild.
Pay someone to decorate my home.
Open a scrapbook store as big as Archiver's. (I would need a million dollars to keep it open in a town the size of Vernal!)
I love being an OB nurse so I wouldn't give up my job but I might go to part time so I could work in my scrapbook store!

Scrapbook Expo

This was so much fun. I have been to the Expo before but only to shop. This time, we went and scrapbooked, too! We had a blast!! In our group there was, me, Michele, Amber, Melanie, Megan, Julia, and Merrilee. At the table next to us were Jamie and her daughter, Brandi, and her mom, Peggy and others. We scrapbooked all day Friday and most of the day Saturday. We also shopped until we dropped or until the money ran out, whichever came first! I think we are going to try to go again next year!

I Love Tagging!! (HA)

This tagging is so you can impress everyone with either how clean you are or how messy you are. For me, that depends upon the day and what kind of week or month I have been having.

#1. This is my closet. I remember when we first moved into this house, how big I thought the closet was! Because it is so roomy, now I just don't get rid of anything, I just keep adding to it. It definitely is time to make a trip to DI!!

#2 and #5. This picture serves 2 purposes: The kitchen sink and Kids in their best form. This was taken just last Sunday after a big Sunday dinner, Derek's BD dinner. On Sundays, I do the cooking and my kids and my husband are supposed to do the dishes. Well, here is Wyatt doing dishes, and I haven't a clue where all the other helpers are! Good job, Wyatt, I can always depend on you!!

#3. The toilet in the main bathroom. Well, OK. Here it is. I'm not sure what I am supposed to say about it?!

#4. This is my laundry room, or at least as much of it as I can get into one picture. The really messy part is to the left. I have a whole counter that is great for a folding table, but it is so full of bulk food that there isn't even room to fold a washcloth!

#6. A place I would like to visit. Unlike Amber, I don't know how to get at picture from the web. So I will just have to tell you, I would love to visit New Zealand. I may get a chance to next year, with my mom and dad. It is either there or Africa. They get to decide!

#7. The fridge and freezer. One of my favorite places!! Not too messy just because I had to get a new fridge a couple of months ago when the old one went out and I haven't had enough time to trash this one yet!!

#8. My favorite room in the house. No question, my hobby room, AKA, the scrapbook room. I love this room for many reasons: It is a place of memories. When I scrapbook, I get to relive all the times and places that I took photos of. Especially of my kids and grandkids! Also, this is a women's gathering room, even though men are always invited. My daughters, my daughters-in-law, my daughters' friends, I just call them "my girls, get together and scrapbook whenever we can. It is a time to have fun, and laugh!

#9. This is my self portrait and it is dedicated to Amber because she was so sweet to tag me again after I asked her nicely not to!!

#10. (Yeah!! I'm done!) This is supposed to be a picture of my favorite pair of shoes. I don't have a favorite pair, I think that shoes are a necessary evil and I wear them when I have to. Even at my age, I prefer to go barefoot. I always have and probably always will.

New York

My friends, Teresa and Margaret, and I went to New York the first part of September. Teresa and I had been together before a few years ago and Margaret had been when she was younger. We spent a week there and had a blast. We saw all the usual stuff plus some other fun places. I highly recommend anybody who likes crowds, smells, noise and honking taxi horns, to take a trip here. I have loved it both times!

Let's play a Game!

Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. :) If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Stop Tagging Me!!!

Amber tagged me again! We are the most boring old people I know! Oh well! Here goes:

1. What is his name? Wynn Clyde (yes, Clyde! What was his mother thinking?)
2. Who eats more? Sometimes him, sometimes me.
3. Who said "I love you" first? I did, but it was in shorthand and he wasn't supposed to guess what it said. Of course he did and I was embarrassed until he whispered it back to me!
4. Who is taller? He is at 5'11'', I am 5'5".
5. Who is smarter? He is smarter about some things and I am about others.
6. Who is more sensitive? Definitely me. He is of the old school where sensitivity was a female problem!
7. Who does the laundry? I think Wynn has done approximately 2 loads of laundry in our 35 years of marriage. He definitely knows how to make it dirty! He will wear holey socks from the drawer before he remembers to look in the dryer for clean socks!
8. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? I do, it is closer to the window that I like to keep open for fresh air.
9. Who pays the bills? I do.
10.Who cooks more? It is pretty equal right now. Before the kids moved out, I did all the cooking except for BBQ. I don't cook much now that the kids are gone. Wynn is still king of the grill!
11. What meals do you cook together? Occasionally a light dinner for just the two of us.
12. Who is more stubborn? We are both pretty stubborn and neither one of us likes to give in and admit that we are wrong.
13. Who is the first to admit they're wrong? Neither one of us is good at it. Most times we just agree to disagree.
14. Who has more siblings? Wynn does, he has 6 siblings, 4 brothers and 2 sisters, I have 1 brother.
15. Who wears the pants in the relationship? At this point in our relationship we probably share that pair of pants in most things. Spiritually, Wynn definitely!
16. What do you like to do together? Sit back and watch our family as it grows and changes. We chuckle a lot!
17. Who eats more sweets? Me, no question!
18. His guilty pleasures? Tinkering with anything rather than tackling the mile long list of honey do's.
19. How did you meet? We first met when he was dating my close friend. A long story but they had been apart for months before he asked me out!
20. Who asked who out first? He asked me out for a motor cycle ride into the mountains on a Sunday afternoon the 2nd day of January. His motorcycle got a flat tire in a very small town in the mountains outside of L.A. All the stores were closed so we sat on a curb on the main street and waited for his friend to drive all the way up there to get us. We had nothing to do but talk to pass the time. That was when I realized that I wanted to get to know this guy better!
21. Who proposed? He did, sort of. We really just started talking about it, there really wasn't a formal proposal.
22. Who kissed who first? He kissed me, (that was the way it was done way back then!) but I am sure he caught enough signals from me to know it was OK (that's also the way a woman did it back then!!)
23. His best features? His blue eyes. His dirty, rough hands - to me they represent his hard work and commitment to taking care of me and our family.
24. His greatest quality? That he goes to work every day, long days, even though the job is not always pleasant. No matter what, he has always believed that he is the provider and caretaker of this family and it is his job to make sure everyone is taken care of. He has passed that on to our children, they are all hard workers albeit in different ways!

I have been tagged by Amber and I am supposed to tell you 6 little known facts about me. Since I am just pretty boring, this is going to be long and painful! Here goes:

  1. I kissed my first boy when I was in 5th grade, his name was Alex Ayala, he was my first love!
  2. I used to hitch hike to the beach with my friends before we could drive! Was it safer then?
  3. I love to go to Aneheim Stadium and watch the Angels play.
  4. Being a mom has been the best thing I have ever done in my life!
  5. I love to sit back and watch my own children and the way they parent.
  6. I have cried to get out of getting a speeding ticket. Shame on me!
