July | Juli

I know, just like last month, I am late with my post. But there were some photos I wanted to share from last month. Have no idea if anyone still watches this though.....

I have had quite some cake (and eaten it too), but this must be one of the best I have ever had. It's with raspberries, and if you are ever in Nijmegen, you can get it at Holy Sweets, or De Blonde Pater

June | Juni

I know, July has been on its way for over two weeks now, but there were still some photos I wanted to share from last month.

Going out for a walk, and running into these ladies!

A colourful wall on a saturday morning walk

Sort of translation: if you take a good look around,
you can see everything is coloured

Photographed in my hometown, but it always feels like it's not just around the corner.
It always gives me that 'holiday feel'

I see this one almost everyday, and finally took the time to take a photo

First museum visit in months, to the nearby Africa Museum

Update

This long forgotten blog has been dusted off (I have some free time on my hands....) en hope you're happy and healthy. My Etsy shop is on a break, maybe it will re-open later this year. Our totebags, cards and notebooks are also available through the webshop of my company: Druk & Vorm, besides our own conconctions, you can find (post)cards, books, stationery, puzzles and games. Currently we shop to the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. See something you like and you live some place else? Drop me a line, and I can check if I can send to you and how much shipping would be.

The one with a day in Groningen

A while ago, I visited Groningen with my mom. It's quite the commute by train, but it was definitely worth it. Our destination was the Groninger Museum. The reason we went was the David LaChapelle exhibition. David LaChapelle is a photographer, and music video and film director. He has done commercial work for magazines like Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair and Vogue. His work has been described as 'surreal pop kitsch'. And you may have seen some of his music videos for Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, No Doubt and Amy Winehouse. My favourite video is Take me to Church by Hozier.

 The staircase inside the museum

The inside of the museum is filled with gorgeous works of art, but the outside of the museum is spectacular too!

We took a stroll around the city and spotted some cool streetart and doors!

Not the bestest of photos but the ceilings of the trainstation are gorgeous!

As a cheese-lover, this pin is right up my alley

One of my fave Instagram accounts is that of Dutch museum 'het Mauritshuis'

Have you ever tried riding a bike like this? I did and it's very hard!
