I so love the color combination of Red, White and Blue!  The challenge at Crafting for all Seasons is to use red, white and blue on your creation.

Vacation journals

I am starting vacation journals for our family vacations.  Everyone will write their experiences in the journal during our vacations and I will add pictures, stickers and tickets etc so we have a fun record of our time together.

Bugaboo card done another way...

Have you ever made a card and then thought maybe I should redo this card because something seems like it is missing. Well I made this card several different ways.  I just couldn't get it to look the way I wanted it.  Having a bad cold makes you less up for being crafty I think.  Well at least having a bad cold did that to me.  :)

Can't wait to get back to feeling normal.

Pollycraft Sonny's party

Hello Everyone,

Pollycraft is having a DT call so I thought I would give it a go.  I created a card with the Sonny's Party image.  You can get this image for free HERE.

I created the background by using a balloon stamp and stamped it in the three different colors of chalk ink listed below.  The edges around the image are inked using distress ink spiced marmalade.

I used Popsicle Tobie for my image from Some Odd Girl.  I really wanted to use a summer theme for my card and I had some cute little popsicle stickers that went perfectly with this image.  The paper has suns all over it so that worked in perfectly too.

Hello and summer is here!  

So I thought a mermaid card would fit right in with the current weather.  

I love creating cards with texture and beautiful colors.  I mostly stuck with the aqua colors on this card and I love the look.  The mermaid pops out with her glittery tail.  Don't you think?

I found this digital stamp while commenting on a card entered into one of my DT challenges and had to buy it.  The image is from Wee Stamps and the fairies are beautifully drawn.

I just had to add glitter to her wings and flower soft for the flowers under her feet. I have not used flower soft in quite a while but it is a great product for adding texture to your project.

I had fun with this card and created a beachy summer themed card.  To this card I added sandals (LifeStyle Craft die), Doily (MFT die), Doily border (MFT die),  Tag and sentiment (MFT die and stamp), fish brads, crystals, flowers.  It makes me want to be sitting on the beach!  LOL.  Are you ready for beach weather?
