Wow...8 months have gone by since posting to this blog. Whoops! :) It's funny that I enjoy reading others blogs so much yet I am terrible at posting at mine.
Life is good at the Bemis household. Busy as usual, but that is our life. We have finally settled into our new home.
We are starting to add decorations here and there which makes it feel a little more put together. We are even more excited for all the room that we have. The kids have plenty of room to play, inside and out. Our street is FULL of kids and Aubrey and Peyton LOVE going outside and playing in the evenings. The fenced in backyard is a big plus. I love being able to let them go out and eat their popsicles or play in the sandbox and not have to have a constant eye on them. I think they like that part too.
Aubrey has started 3rd grade. She is growing up so fast, that I sit and stare are her every once and a while and wonder where the time has gone. She loves to read and is an amazing girl. She impresses me daily with her knowledge and her motherly instincts. She is definitely a little woman. She loves do do art projects and study the titanic. She is just one of those "good kids". I am so proud of her.
Peyton is going to be 2 and that truly makes me wonder where time is going! She is such a lively little kid. She has absolutely no fear and is willing to try anything. She is obsessed with Halloween and ghosts. She is like her sister, a sponge for learning. Peyton makes me laugh every single day. She has continued the Munson tradition of having ice-cream with Grandpa and she gets so excited to go! Also whenever we go to visit their house she has to pick a flower with Grandpa and then Grandma gives her a vase to put it in and carry around. I love these traditions the girls have with family!
The girls are adorable and such good friends. I am still in awe of how well they get along, especially with their age difference. But these two have a bond that is out of this world. I adore them both.
So now we have the new one coming! In a month!!! I sit and wonder what I have gotten myself into. :) 3 kids may seem like nothing to most people, but to me I am not prepared for the shift of man on man defense to zone defense. I am just figuring out a good schedule with being a mom to 2 kids, church callings, personal life (still working on this one), being a wife and working full time. And I still don't have it completely figured out and now it will all change in a month's time. I can say though we are excited to be adding this little boy to our family. We are anxious to see him and to have him here with us. (especially as I sit here and he is rolling around making me sooo uncomfortable) He is truly a blessing from above, like all of my children. We are anxious to see his personality and see him with his sisters.
Derek and I are still busy at work. Auctori is doing well and we are staying busy with it. There is never a dull moment at work or changes needed with the product. We are both coming up on our 5 year anniversary working at Unidev. Once again...time flies. Derek has recently taken up paintball as a hobby and is really enjoying it. He also is on a sand volleyball team for the 2nd time with some friends. He still somehow finds time to play basketball once a week also. As for me, I am enjoying spending time with friends and for the most part am being mom and preparing for a baby. :) I have been very tired with this pregnancy so I am pretty boring right now. But I am sure that will all change. Derek and I are enjoying being parents to our wonderful kids and are so happy with how our lives are together.
Well that is enough reading for 8 months of missed blogging...right? To summarize, we are all alive and doing well. Busy as bees and loving it all!
