Hello people, if you are still out there. Life has been crazy. We are finally in our house (YAY!) and we are working our butts off getting it presentable. So far we have all the carpet ripped out, wall paper down, all the walls, floors, and ceilings washed and have started to paint the master bedroom! We also have the closet in our room out, we are planning on building a built in shelving/bookcase/entertainment area for our TV in that existing area and then turning one of other the bedrooms into a walk-in closet for us!! We have another wall to move before we can really get started on the closet though. Cory has also been busy with his dad and friend Mike out in the yard getting a lot of stuff down out there. they have taken down a lot of dead trees and removed over grown bushes and weeds etc.
This weekend the plan is to get more priming/painting done and Cory and his dad are going to move the washer and dyer into a laundry room/mud room they are going to be building in the back entry way. I've been taking pictures of the progress I promise I will post them to facebook soon enough. Maybe even a few on here.
Besides the house I am taking a class this summer semester, which, let me tell you, has been a bit tricky without internet for the past 3 weeks. My class will be done in about 2 weeks and then I'm done for the summer... I'm looking forward to the break. Also, I have recently started selling Mary Kay (feel free to call me crazy, I know I may be). A client at work confronted me about it about 2 weeks ago asking me if I would be interested. She gave a pretty good pitch by saying that she feels bad for me because I have a degree, am working towards my masters and I am working as a bank teller making pennies. It's all true so I figured why not give it a try, a little extra money never hurts right? Plus, maybe I can earn myself an awesome pink Cadillac and take trips to Dallas for the national seminars! (you don't have to be high up to attend seminar either) I also decided to do it because we haven't really met any new friends since moving down here and I figured this would also be a good chance to meet new people, network, and have some fun.
