Special thanks to Lionel, Zhiqiang for inviting me to their malacca trip. I think the trek comm does not have enough people going, that's why they invited Yee Rae, Peifen and me (the outsiders). Nonetheless, we enjoyed this 'Eating' and 'Cam-whoring' malacca trip.
This will be my last and maybe officially first time joining NTU ODAC as a sub committee. Before entering in University, I had a resolution of not joining any cca because of the past experiences and encounters with my previous club during my entire poly life as a main committee. I just want to join outdoor trips and enjoy as a participant, relax and sit back while I can in NTU.
Thinking back, my life was studying studying studying, do assignment do assignment do assignment and of course go for trips during break. The other hand, looking ahead, I have another year in NTU before I graduate. There's a strong urge in me to make a difference to join the club.
Why I choose Ads Sport over Trek?
Year 1, I joined trek as a sub committee. I was utterly disappointed the way the committee is handled. All I had is the only one meeting and that's it and no news from the head after that. I had a mentality from there onwards, the management failed.
Year 2, I applied for trek again but was rejected. It's their lost and maybe my gain. Before that, Xueling (Ads Sports SPO then) called me personally to join her and I don't have to go for her interview if I agreed to her. But I didn't for some reasons. I'm not quite regreted actually because she resigned her post halfway.
This time round, I was approached by my ex-freshies Siying and Esther (Ads Sports SPO currently) to join them. It's already 50% confirmed and I just have to agree to be in. The activities of the Ads Sports is getting quite similar to the activities I have organised back in poly. Something closer to my heart. I decided that I will not give trek another chance any more.
Only challenge when I got Ads Sport is to fulfill one of the mission: Promote the family bonding in NTU ODAC. In my mind, what is family bond? what is the degree of bond? how are we going to bond the relationship? This part I can't understand HOW HOW HOW?
Just can't wait for Sep 2 for the 1st comm meeting, shall discuss on this with my two sweet lady bosses.
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.
The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.
Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.
The seriousness of your love:
You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?
Your views on education
You may not like to study but you have many practical ideas. You listen to your own instincts and tend to follow your heart, so you will probably end up with an unusual job.
The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.
How do you view success:
Success in your career is not the most important thing in life. You are content with what you have and think that being with someone you love is more than spending all of your precious time just working.
What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.
Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.
Well most of the points are true with the exception of point 4.
