A unique time in history as Coronavirus moves across the country - daily press briefings from the Whitehouse with some as long as two hours; shelter-in-place orders from many state governments including the state I live in, Michigan; school closings for the rest of the school year - today is only April 3 - schools won't open again till fall; few people in stores and on the roads; people wearing surgical gloves and face masks to go out at all; six-feet social distancing to walk down the sidewalks. During all this, I've kept busy cleaning out closets and sorting through art supplies. Came across some items I decided to utilize to create three art journal covers - will fill them with journal pages at a later date. So many artists offering free classes as they, too, are not leaving their homes except to restock their pantries with food and paper goods. With all the free classes to take advantage of, it should be an easy task to fill these three journals in no time and take a break from all-day-long virus updates on the news. Time to switch off the news, bring out the art supplies, and turn on the music:
