Katherine is almost 8 months and my how time does fly! She is just getting so very big. (Excuse the funky bangs in the above picture. I didn't notice how crazy they looked until after I uploaded the pictures)
Katherine is a doll. She is our little sweet princess. Everyone loves her. Everyone wants her all the time...and with all that loving she is turning into one happy little girl.
Well mostly happy. We had a few weeks of some really grumpy times. On Halloween I took the kids to McDonalds and Katherine ate an entire burger...bun...patty...all of it...she has just been so incredibly hungry. So after thinking a lot about it I decided to give her a bottle...maybe momma's milk just isn't cutting it anymore...so I gave her a bottle the next day and she was happy all day! She didn't eat like a crazy baby and actually felt satisfied after a normal serving size. So I started supplementing and it has brought back our sweet baby Katherine. She smiles nearly all the time. She jabberers all the time. She moves around pretty well, pulls herself up in her crib to a standing position, and LOVES to be tickled. Last week she waved for the first time at our friend Steve!
Here are a few more pics to enjoy. I think she is so cute with a flower in her hair...I just wish they
didn't taste so darn good and could stay in for a few minutes!

Halloween...sort of...
So I am missing most of the Halloween pictures. This is weird because I posted them on Facebook. I tried to pull them off of facebook but the quality was a little lower than I hoped. Here they are:
Halloween night Greg was gone and Clara was sick. We had a great time but after only 30 minutes of trick or treating everyone was ready to go home. Even Katherine.
With all the moving, church callings, and the birthday busy days we almost forgot to carve pumpkins! So at the last minute we went and bought some pumpkins to carve.
Katherine was pretty grumpy while we carved so we gave her a "treat" to enjoy while we worked!

Our New House!
If your expecting pictures of a clean and perfectly unpacked house it is just not going to happen! It is clean...usually...but that is because I am always cleaning...when I stop it looks like this...or worse. These pictures are what your going to get so please excuse the lived in house! This mom is not going to waste precious playing time in order to clean the house for a picture!
Here is the front of the house displaying our Halloween pumpkins
MAIN FLOOR:
Kitchen
Dining
Family Room
Entry/Greg's office (the picture on the paino will hang on the empty wall.)
Bathroom
Katherine's Room
Master (this is actually the smallest bedroom, but the most private so we chose this room)
The hall of fame
UPSTAIRS:
looking downstairs from the upstairs hallway at a really strange angle
Hallway
Playroom
Lego/Reading Room
Girls Room
Jacob's Room (The Gatorade room. I don't think we will repaint. He loves it!)
Jacob's closet. He messes it up everyday when he gets dressed but always cleans it when asked!
Downstairs in the basement....that is our best kept secret of boxes everywhere and laundry! Soon we will have a playroom/tv room down there but for now that room is covered in forts made out of boxes! Perhaps I will post on that soon.
