A Week in Review!

The toothless wonder

Actually this is a super funny story for us. Sabrina's tooth was hanging by a root and she was too terrified to pull it out. So was I. I cannot stand the sound of someone ripping a tooth out. It just gives me the willies. I told Sabrina if she didn't have it pulled out by the time daddy got home from his Sunday meetings Daddy was going to pull the tooth out for her. So...when daddy came home he got to work on extracting the tooth. The first pull was unsuccessful and had a little blood. This set Sabrina into a bit of a panic and she began to cry. I went over and held her and Greg pulled the tooth...she began to hyperventilate. Greg pushed the tooth into her mouth and it popped out (into her mouth) while Sabrina was hyperventilating. He gently told her to stop sucking air in our she was going to swallow her tooth...this totally freaked her out and she completely lost it. Crying, coughing, breathing crazy, and low and behold...no tooth in her mouth. After a HUGE panic attack and crying over a swallowed tooth Sabrina finally calmed down enough to talk. She was filled with embarrassment about swallowing her tooth and totally upset that the tooth fairy wouldn't be able to visit her (despite the fact that I told her she would) and in the middle of a small bout of crying I noticed her tooth lying on the floor. She didn't swallow it after all and peace was restored to our home.

I think she is still beautiful!

Soccer season has begun...in all the wind and glory of Aberdeen. Burr!

Jacob learned to pedal his bike with the help of his BIG sister Clara. (Post tomorrow on Clara!)

Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine Circus & Other Great Stuff!

About a week ago Greg & I took our kids to the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine Circus...or for short The Shriner's Circus. We just loved it!!! The arena was so small it was like we had front row seats! It rocked! Here is the view from our seats.
