another trip to the pumpkin patch.  reese's fav-the swings.

ellie's award

ellie received the citizenship award last month for the skill of being responsible.  they give out 1 per class every month for different skills.  she felt so awesome!

We love Romney!

this is pretty much opening up fresh wounds.  I so wished mitt romney could have lead our country.  he is an amazing, honest, moral, not to mention brilliant man.  I think he is the best candidate the country has had in a LONG time.  i just don't see how people passed up this chance.  oh wait, it was fraud and the liberal media that won it for obama. that's right. romney had the perfect background to be able to manage this horrible economy and was the leader the country needs right now  when it comes to foreign affairs. i could go on for a long time. instead we are stuck with a man who tried to cover up the death of our american ambassador and  3 others to win the election.  (the man they tried to blame it on is still in prison by the way) in Nevada people are struggling so much.  most good, honest, hard working people i know are underwater in their house.  much of the state is out of work.  i thought, for sure in an economy like this, the state would want romney.  now i realize that most people are tired of looking for work.  it's easier for them to sit on the couch and collect a pay check.  doesn't seem fair.  why should we work hard, save, and be frugal, and have to pay for them to do nothing. and get way more money for groceries than i can spend, i might add.  still just sick over it all.  the kids and i worked so hard for the campaign.  we knock on doors for hours and hours and hours. made phone calls.  we believed in this man. the kids loved it and saw the importance of working hard for something.  at least, after all is said and done, i can say i did the most i could.  if i had done nothing i would feel pretty guilty right now. God bless America, please.

fall

in las vegas-we really like fall time.  all 2 days of it. reese looks happy here. 5 min later she was done walking.  after bargaining and bribing her i finally ended up with her on my shoulders, purse, and 3 large pumpkins in my arms.

look who's 3

oh reese! she's 3- which is hard to believe.  right now her favorite thing to do is wake up in the morning, leave her diaper (open)on the floor, put on her leotards, ballet skirt, and undies.  95%of the time she's in her leotard. she'll usually change her clothes/leotard 3-4 times a day...leaving a trail of clothes all over the house. she is obsessed with purses and loves to load them with "things" and carry them all over the house.  she'll tell me she's going to walmart or cafe rio with her babies and purses.  she wants to be a big kid, do what they do, and talks like them. and oh boy does she know exactly how to push their buttons.  she's very animated-makes great faces, and makes me laugh all the time. we love her!

1st day of school 2012

the kids were so excited this morning.  neither one was ready to wake up...we've had late nights. but unlike other years they were excited to start. this is ellie's first full day-lunch, recess (the wopping 10 min they get), and specials.  big day.  i enjoyed the peace.
