Class for Cooks

went for class that was organised by
Vanessa and Amanda
and it was AWESOME! hehe
the food and the wine.
and the company was great! (:
but because there are alot of photos
i shall begin. and talk along the way. haha
The three dishes taught for the night:
1) Tataki of Chateaubriand with Miso Foie Gras Sauce
2) Wagyu Foie Gras Shepherd's Pie Topped with Truffle Mash
3) Kahlua Tiramisu
as you can see. everything is of very expensive ingredients
and everything was super yummy! (:
we started off with the dessert.
so that it could be chilled by the time we're having it.

11 egg yolks.

we beat the egg whites till it formed very stiff peaks

giving our full attention!

till it was creamy

we layered the lady's finger
and alternated it with the custard

yes every layer had cocoa powder.
how yum? hehe

Next was the Tataki

after searing the outside of the tenderloin

an in between snack of cherry tomatoes with homemade basil oil.
super duper good. (:
