CHRISTMAS

Christmas Day! I get worse every year about taking pictures! I get caught up in the moment and forget to capture it! Everyone was pretty excited about their gifts!

Grandma and Grandpa and Uncle Matt and Stephanie joined us for Christmas morning! It was fun to have them!

Will was so thrilled with his Dolphins gear!

He was feeling pretty tough. Uncle Matt asked Will what happened to his shirt. He replied, "what shirt? I never had a shirt!"

It was a wonderful day!

Merry Christmas!

We had Christmas Eve dinner with Jon's parents and Matt and his girlfriend Stephanie! She is visiting from Cananda and it was so fun to meet her and get to know her!

Santa found us!

Sure love these kiddos! This might be our last Christmas with just the 5 of them. I have a hunch that next Christmas we will have an addition!

Fall Leaves for Christmas!

What do you do on Christmas Eve's Eve???
The boys were getting restless. Will wanted to get a nerf gun really bad, so I told him is he raked the leaves he could earn one. He went out and raked for quite awhile.

He caught my attention and I just stood at the window and watched him.

He carefully and strategically placed the leaves just right!

And made himself a cozy little couch!

It was so cute!

Polar Express Night

Our Polar Express night is one of my kids' favorite traditions! They find their gift and their ticket on their beds. The gift is always their pajamas!

They put on their pajamas and we all pile in the van to go look at all the pretty lights!

We play the songs we can stand on the Polar Express soundtrack (some of them just drive us crazy). We make a quick stop at Maverik for hot chocolate...which is usually me getting hot chocolate and everyone else getting slurpees!!

Silly kids! Don't you know slurpees are for summer! We drive by our 4 favorite houses and then we head back home!

I was determined to take pictures this year for posterity's sake, but alas, I only took before pictures and I completely forgot about the rest! I didn't even get a picture of the kids in their pajamas! Sorry you missed it, they were cute and we had a great time!

The Best of the Best

After church we went out to deliver all of our neighbor treats for Christmas. The Babe and I lingered in the car for a minute to go over a few last minute things to make sure we were ready for the big day. When we walked into the house, this is what we walked in to find!
I love these precious humans so much! I love that they love each other! It is so great to have them all home for a minute! It just makes my momma heart so full!!

Porter never got up from the pile!

Live Nativity

We finally made it to the the Live Nativity out at Tuacahn! It's one of my favorite traditions and I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to get there this year. But we did!

It was the Saturday before Christmas, so the place was packed, and when I say packed, I mean there was not an empty seat in that entire theater! I was shocked! Usually we make it out there earlier in the month and only 10-15 rows fill up. I'm grateful we got to go! It's a special time.

My snuggle bug!
I love that he still wants to snuggle!

Catch with Dad

Will playing catch with Dad.

 He's so goated :-)
(greatest of all time)

This picture of Porter popped up on my facebook page. This is when he was 4 in Miss Shawna's preschool.

Jack Stewart, Porter, and Beckham Henderson
these boys are still very good friends! I love it!

Adelah's First Haircut

When you just want to go home from church but your mom can't stop talking to people!

Addie decided she needed to learn how to cut hair. So this was her first lesson. The Babe got to be her guinea pig. The other boys were unwilling.

She did a great job!
Yay! I can give her the hair cutting job. Because it is not my favorite!

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas

The Babe and I had a little get-away, sort of. He volunteered us to make a donuts for a retirement party in Heber City.
Just the two of us went up, which was nice to just step away for a minute in the middle of the chaos.
We visited Jon and Ruth for a little bit and that was fun. We made 300+ donuts and I endured another retirement party for someone I don't know, but it was great to be with The Babe. We visited the Hunts while we were there and watched Red One with them. It was good to see them.

We woke up to snow the morning we were leaving! It was beautiful. The wild turkeys were super cool!

We ate some good food

Someone in Heber always dresses up the Sinclair dinosaur. It's different every time we go and we love it! This time it was dressed as Elf! So fun!

We left Heber and went to my parents house for our family Christmas party. Addie and Leighna finished their finals this week. They both did great and they are both glad that simester is over. Addie met us at Grandma's and the other kids rode up with my friend Lisa so we didn't have to go all the way home and then back up.

Addie stole Porter's pie!

Luke was so cute, he put on Grandpa's reading glasses and was reading this paper, but he saw me looking and took the glasses off before I could capture the picture! It was so stinking cute! I couldn't get him to put them back on.

Braiden and Baler

I didn't even think to take any pictures until it was all over! We played some fun games and had a yummy dinner.  Katie blind folded a bunch of us and had us sit at a table, then she put money on the table and put mouse traps on top of the money. We had to try to get as much money as we could. It was so scary. I could barely put my hands on the table. My strategy was to just slide my hands flat across the table so I could push the mouse traps out of the way. It didn't work very well because Camron didn't care, and he just went for it, so he got most of the money! It was hilarious! I got to spend a lot of time with my family this holiday season and it has been really nice.

Addie was so happy to be with her siblings. She was getting pretty homesick. She just wanted to go home, but she was trooper and stayed for the party. These knuckleheads all slept in this bead! I don't know how they got a lick of sleep!
