10 years ago today we tied the knot. I have so many fond memories of that day and some not so fond memories. THE WIND WAS INSANE!! I prayed for no rain and plenty of sunshine and I got it but I forgot to pray about the wind....Darn!! It's been a wonderful adventure being married to my Mr. Right. If anyone would have asked me 10 years ago what my life would be like today it wouldn't be anything like it is but I WOULDN'T change a thing. 10 years ago becoming a dentist wasn't anywhere in the picture but I am so grateful for the adventures we've had because of our "change in plans". It's shaped our lives as a couple and as a family. 3 states, 9 houses, hundreds of miles driven across the USA, 3 children, 4 years of dental school, 1 year residency, thousands of study hours, an undesirable amount of student debt, unmeasurable wonderful friendships, and an infinity of fabulous memories. Can't wait for the next 10 years!! Since the beginning of our marriage Jeff and I have had a "tag line"..... I Love you more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow!!
(you really bugged me yesterday :-)

Thanks for putting up with me.....I LOVE YOU!

1/3 mother's day

Parker and I flew to Utah for a quick weekend to spend time with my wonderful 87 year old grandfather who is having heart problems. It just so happened that it was Mother's Day weekend. I was a bit sad that I didn't get to be with my girls, but what a great time I had being with my grandfather, Parker, and the moms in my life.

Mother's Day morning....Parker wouldn't
even look at the camera.

I LOVE THIS MAN!!!
Grandpa Foust was in the hospital the entire
weekend so I hung out there as much as I could.
It was so great to chat with him about his life!!
I learned things I never knew about him.
Parker was not a fan of the camera.

Thankfully, Granda Karl took Parker home
from the hospital so they could have some
fun....thanks dad!! This is Parker holding on
to Grandpa so Grandpa wouldn't get lost

My fabulous brother Jake and his friend Chris picked
Parker and I up from the airport and treated us to
lunch...THANKS GUYS!! Jake's new sassy car is seriously
AWESOME!! It's my dream car....but I want a red one

We had to make a pit stop at Jake's house so we
could play with the dogs for a bit. Parker
LOVED every minute of it. Gracie and Izzy
were very patient with us....such great dogs!

Parker also got a very looooong overdue haircut.
You can see he wasn't thrilled about it but
he didn't cry. Just gave dirty looks.

Thanks Staci!! You did a great job

Such a handsome little guy!!!

Parker got to help Grandpa Karl plant part of the
garden. First, they shoveled rocks into a bucket

Then Grandpa dug a hole and Parker put
the potatoes in and stepped on them.

Parker's favorite part was watering them after
they were covered up with dirt.

Making sure there was enough water in the bucket

Next it was time for peas

Grandpa showed Parker where to put each one

I just LOVE that chubby little hand!!

Mother's Day afternoon was spent at my mom's house
with the family. We had a SUPER YUMMY meal
and I am so thankful that Grandma took time away
from the hospital to be with us for a while. It was
nice being with the "Mothers"!! Parker
is not happy in this picture either so.....

we all did a grumpy face to make him feel better....
LOVE IT!! We look awesome :-)

My Little Runner

Lauren's school turned 25 years old and so they celebrated. All week they had wonderful activities for the kids to do. On Friday they had a "Dolphin Dash". Their school mascot is a dolphin. The kids ran with their grade and they were to run as many laps as they could in 5 minutes. Lauren was SOOOOOO excited about the run!! I went over to watch and take pictures and I was very impressed with what I saw. Lauren was the leader of the pack and she ran her little legs off.

The starting line

....and she's off....

Taking the lead

Lauren ran with a grin on her face the WHOLE time

Each time they completed a lap they were
given a popsicle stick so they could keep
track of how many laps they ran.

Lauren completed 8 laps. That's the most
anyone completed. She was proud!!
....and so was I!!

Who knew we had a little runner??
Olympics here we come :-)

Easter

This year Easter weekend was full of event after event after event. We were able to get it all done so Easter Sunday was very relaxing. We started the weekend out with an activity at church.

Parker collected eggs with the youngsters

Lauren also got her share of eggs
at the community egg hunt

Maddie went skateboarding down a grassy hill

They both got their faces painted like tigers

On Easter morning the kids woke to find eggs
scattered around the entire house. But first
they had to find their buckets

Parker found his very quickly

Too bad the camera missed the
contents of Lauren's bucket!

Maddie was thrilled with all the CANDY!!

Spring Break 2

My parents came over Spring Break and as tradition would have it......the weather was cold and yucky. They always seem to bring the cold weather from Utah with them so we spent most of our time indoors and we had a great time. Here's just a few pictures from some of our adventures.

We colored Easter Eggs

Rode bikes around the fountain

Crashed and loved it better

Grandma colored with the girls while.....

Parker, Grandpa, and myself made delicious
strawberry jam and our favorite
RICE PUDDING!!!
