Halloween party..adult style

So we went to this Halloween Party in Jenny and Cody's Neighborhood. It was crazy. There seriously was 100+ people there! Debbie and Paul went and it was fun to hang out with them again!

Trunk or treat

Trunk or Treat for our church was on Saturday night. It was fun! I am so thankful that my parents and both of my sisters and their families came and also my friend Nancy and her family came. A festive time was had by all. The funniest part was that Janelle kept on getting mistaken for me.... we should have planned to dress totally alike, that would have been great! There's always next year!

Dress up Birthday Party for Vance

I think the adults had more fun than the kids did! Vance loved his Halloween costume so we decided to have a dress up party. He was so serious all night. He could'nt figure out what was going on and he was a little confused by all the costumes. My favorite part of the night was when we started to sing Vance Happy Birthday....Well I should say that he started to sing to himself first and super loud! It was so cute.

Fall Break.....

Eating Breakfast at The Hangar Cafe at the Chandler Air Park. We ate on the patio and saw lots of Planes come in. Vance especially loved it! I love my family!

Swim......of course!!!!

We decided since it was so hot still during fall break that we would enjoy some fun in the sun! Basha pool is so great, Vance just walks around and sits and splashed; Blane plays on the water playground the whole time. I get tired watching him slide down the slides and back up again and again and again! Madison and Davin hung out at the lazy river and on the water slides. It was so cool that they can go by themselves now that they are stronger swimmers. This was such a fun time!

My SwEEt Vancey Pants is TwO!

I love this little guy so much, what more could I say! Well, I have lots to say!.He is just so wonderful and amazing. He is talking so much. I love how he is so polite. When I give him something (dinner, drink, toy, ect..) He'll say this, "Tanka Mom". and then he'll follow it with this, "yawelcum". He is so sweet. He gets so mad and screams, "My Mom!" when the other kids sit or lay on my lap. The older kids, especially Blane will pull a toy out of Vance's hands for no reason and I will tell them to say sorry to him. Vance hears me say this and goes up to Blane and says, "Surry Bwane". It is so cute! He tells the kids that they are in trubble or if Penny has an accident in the house he will say, " Penny trubble!" When he goes poop in his diaper, we will ask him if he went poop and he usually says, "no, toots!" Sometimes he is only stinky from toots! He is a great listener. He likes to go shopping and play outside. He still loves BIG trucks. Vance loves his blanky. He likes to sing, "Popcorn Popping" and "Twinkle, Twinkle little star". He likes Curious George books and Pajama Time and The Belly Button book. He likes to give everyone hugs and kisses before he goes to bed. He gets mad at Davin and Blane and screams at them. Madison is really good with Vance and when I am at Mutual or gone, he likes to lay or sit with Madison on the coach before bedtime. He is such a joy in all of our lives! I can't believe he is already 2! Happy Birthday Buzz!

It rained...who doesn't love it??

My kiddies love any chance to be in the rain since they are true Arizonians and they don't get to see much rain...ever!

31 days til' Halloween...can't wait!!

I made these wreaths and fell in love with the idea of them. They are so cute and easy to make! And of course we got to have a halloween tree!!

fall festivities...

We had fun at the Pumpkin patch with Blane's Preschool class. I can't believe that he will be starting kindergarten next year! I will be a sad mama!

BeFore i forget...

Jenny and Cody spoke in their church today and their topic was Obedience and how it will bless our lives. They really did great and the spirit was strong. We sang one of my fav church songs "The spirit of God"...I love it. My Mom and Dad also went. I was so happy that they chose to come. But, that's great and all, but what I am about to jot down is the icing on the cake. My sweet boy Davin, laying next to me in his Jams tonight says, " Mom, you know when Aunt Jenny was speaking in church today.... I got the goose bumps." I was taken back a little and then we discussed why he had got them. I knew it was from the Holy Ghost, but I wanted his input, so we talked. I asked, "Were you cold?" and he said, "Why, do you get them when you're cold?" and I replied, "yup". and he then said "Well, I was a little cold." and I asked, "Do you think that's why you got them?" and he said, "no." Then we talked some more. I am impressed with this little guy! He had also told Dason this earlier, "Dad, when Jenny spoke today, it felt all good in my chest." I am so thankful to belong to such a wonderful church that allows refuge away from the World.
