Just Wanted To Say...
I love my kids, my hubby, my life, everything! I just got up this morning and realized how great and wonderful my life is. My kids are the two cutest kids ever and they make me laugh all the time. They are finally starting to play together without always ending in a fight. Of course they do still have fights ... we are just getting to the not all the time part. It is so cute to see them playing together so sweetly like they have been doing today. I love my hubby, he is so sweet and funny....he always finds a way to make me laugh! I am so blessed to have my family and I am sure the readers of this blog feel the same way. It is just amazing how God gives us the right spouse, the right kids, and the right life for us! I guess I am just feeling the love today! Things can be crazy all around me but somehow my hubby & my kids seem to calm me and make it all just right! So I love you guys --Jason, Noah & Ethan :) Thank you God for giving me this life. Thank you guys for sharing this fun, loud, crazy, sometimes stressful , and at times a little chaotic life with me!

My Turn to Drive!
Ethan wanted a turn driving the power wheels yesterday so Noah helped the little guy out! Noah did the gas while Ethan attempted to turn the steering wheel. It was sooo funny and just so you know nobody got hurt! You can breathe now! Noah was funny trying to give him some handling instructions...
Finally --- Time For Football!
We went to the Weatherford High School football game this past Friday night. Of course, we didn't expect to stay for the whole game because Ethan usually goes to bed at 7:30pm and the game didn't start until 7:30pm. We went anyway because we've really been wanting and waiting for football to get kicked off! So we decided to take what we could get. You know some is better than none!Of course this cheering attitude didn't last long! But how cute is little Ethan?
The score was looking not so good! We made it until half time then we had to go. We did get to see the band do their thing and they were really good! Unfortunately the Roo's did not make a comeback and lost with the final score of Roo's 28 and Arlington Lamar Vikings 72. Better luck next time! :)
We continued our football weekend with a tailgate party Saturday (really just tailgating food for me, Jason, & the kids). After the kids went to bed, Jason & I watched the Texas Longhorns play UTEP and win!! Final score Longhorns 42 -- El Paso 13! Yeah Longhorns!!
Okay now all this score talk kind of makes me feel a bit like a news reporter so I am done!!!
Noah is very excited to be at the game!!

Some Sadness Has Crept In!
Okay, so I am a little sad tonight about Noah going back to pre-k tmrw. It's not the fact that he will be away from me for 3 hours Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I am not worried that he won't have a good time or receive good care. It's the fact that he is old enough to be in pre-k. It just makes me realize how fast he is growing up. I can't believe that he has been in my life for almost 5 years! I know that pre-k will turn into K-5, then 1st grade, then he will be gone all day 5 days a week. I am just not ready for that. It's just all happening much quicker than I would like.
Sometimes I wonder about how I am spending my time with my kids each day. Am I making the most of every minute with them? There are so many days that seem to come and go ... and it doesn't seem like we got to do much of the things I thought we would. It makes me think I should cut back on our activities but then I know we would just stay home, go crazy, and get on each other's nerves. I guess we just have to find a balance. Tmrw will not be the balance. Our Mondays now consist of Pilate's in the am, school in the afternoon, and soccer practice at 6pm! I know sometimes I feel guilty for doing this Pilate's class because I don't HAVE to do that.
Anyways I am just rambling! But it feels like my little ones are growing up so fast and I wonder if I am making the most of our time.

Noah Starts Pre-K
We have been counting down the days for a few months now to the day Noah starts pre-k and today was the day. My emotions are happy and sad! I am such a girl!!! We never just feel one thing....we feel many things all at the same time! He was unbelievably excited so that made a big difference. Also, I feel really great about the place he is at ( http://www.weatherfordschoolhouse.com/ ). It just seems like they really care about the kids and know what they are doing. He is going to learn so much!
About 11:40 today he start walking around saying, "mom I can't be late, I can't be late". Like he knows me or something!!! Then about 10 minutes later he had his backpack on, and his snack bag in his hand still telling me we can't be late. I assured him we wouldn't be but he wasn't convinced. So I set the timer and told him when it goes off we will get in the car and go. The timer went off he headed to the garage! We get in the car all buckled in...then Jason calls says he is almost home to wait so he can ride with us. So I tell Noah just a few more minutes. He is in the back seat saying, "I can't be late, we need to go!". As soon as Jason gets in the car he tells him "we can't be late, we have to go now!". It was so funny!
So we make it to The Schoolhouse and we were NOT late! Noah walks in like he is such a big boy, hangs up his backpack, puts his snack in the snack box, and gets his folder to head to class! He didn't even say bye :( just went straight to his teacher! After I yelled "bye Noah" then he turned to me with a quick bye and went straight to the activity center! He's a busy big boy now --- no time for byes!!!
My house is so quiet right now --- it's weird! I am sure when I pick him up at 3pm he will be talk, talk, talk! But you should know that I haven't cried yet not once...that will probably come next week!

Ready to Go! Walking out the door!
Come on Mom! No more pictures...let's go!!!!
Walking into The Schoolhouse!
Walking into the classroom! His teacher Mrs. Moore
Putting his folder up! Waiting on class to start!
Now, I bet you feel like you were there! I'll add some more once I pick him up!!! I know what you are thinking...yeah more pictures!! But I am just so proud of him and excited for him!! :)
We're back from school....
He had a lot of fun and is looking forward to going back all the time! I asked him what he learned and he said EVERYTHING!!! So it's official he knows it all after only one day of pre-k!!! I thought The Schoolhouse was awesome but my gracious that is incredible!!! He talked and talked about his day and his new friends. He said I am talking your head off. Then he said yep there goes your head!!! He is a nut but I am glad he had a great time and wants to go back.
At the end of the day he was all smiles!!!
The first thing he did when he got home was put on his new soccer cleats and go in the back yard! It's funny cause he was asking me today when he was going to get play soccer again. He said daddy said I was going to play a lot but I only played the one time (they've only had one practice so far). Daddy said we were going to have a game but we haven't!!! I think he is getting a little impatient with Daddy!! They practice on Monday and have games on Saturday but since yesterday was Labor day they didn't practice and they won't have their first game until September 13th so he has a little while to wait!!! So I guess he is doing his own practice in the backyard!
