Look at Me!!!
Logan and I has a wonderful day today! Dad was taking a practice full length DAT test, so we took advantage of that and spent the day out of the house. We went shopping, visiting teaching, and played in the grass. Logan loves to wear Daddy's hat, so when he comes home from football practice or a game the tradition is for Logan to wear the hat for a few minutes. He thinks it's great, and of course Dad loves that he gets excited to see him.
Logan has 4 teeth now. I love trying to capture those pearly whites on camera. This one is actually not the most recent. He got his 3rd lower tooth a few days ago. He loves to chew on everything now to figure out exactly how these foreign objects that are popping up in his mouth work. We laugh at him cause he's a snaggle tooth, and we have no idea when the other top one is going to come in! I love this picture because it is the epitome of his honest effort to crawl. He's starting to push up more and rock back and forth. I think that crawling will be in his near future. I'm excited for the mile stone, but I'm also dreading child proofing the house!
Monkey see, Monkey do. Logan loves to watch us eat, and now he's really starting to wonder what the utensils are. I decided to share my fork with him today and see exactly what he did, and of course he just chewed on it from every angle.
He does manage to get the right part in his mouth, now if he can only get the food to stay on it first. Today we shared pasta with marinara and broccoli. He really likes to try everything I eat, and even though he makes a scornful face sometimes, he just keeps on eating it. I feel blessed that so far he likes everything.

Shewwww.....
Well today our buyers came by for their final walk through on the house! They seemed please, but a little worried about finding renters. I gave them some good tips(at least I thought they were good), and hopefully they can find people quickly. I offered to help as much as I can so that they can rent it with no problems, and when they left I could see they seemed settled. I hope everything goes well, and the papers get signed with no problems. They are nice people getting this place for an investment! I think they will be pleased with the turn out.
Well the clock is ticking, and we will be leaving for Texas in about 9 days. It's crazy to think we are about to turn our world upside down. (in a good way) We are so excited to turn our little guy into a Texas cowboy (Dallas cowboy that is)....

Texas Here We Come
These are my sisters kids. They will be living right down the road from us when we move to Texas. They love baby Logan, and fight to see who will get his attention first! It's adorable.
This is my brother's oldest daughter- They live in Dallas, and we will probably see them 1 once a month or hopefully more! This is my brother's youngest, and she's just a bubble of energy, and so much fun for Logan to play with!
This is my brother's oldest and only boy. Logan will have a blast when he gets a little older because he evens the numbers on boys/girls and will love playing with his boy cousins.
We are going to be living with my parents for a little while, but hopefully in the next few months Dustin will find a good job in Dallas or Houston and we will leave the small town life and set up camp in a bigger city. I do appreciate a small town, but I appreciate more the activities available in a bigger city! We aren't quite sure what is in store for us in the future, but we know that we are making the right move. Whatever is suppose to happen will if we are patient!!!

Summer
Summer is near, and I'm not excited for the Texas heat. That being said, today I took initiative and ordered a swim suit. I'm not really swim suit ready, but I'm well on my way. I've been on weight watcher for 2 weeks and I'm proud to say I've lost 9 pounds. Anyways I don't look as good as this girl (or even remotely close), but I'm just hoping it hides my clingy baby weight and ugly stretch marks! Can I get an Amen?!?! If you love the swim suit I got it at http://www.modbeclothing.com/ You can't actually order online, but if you want one Teryn is a consultant and she can hook you up for the summer. Well just thought I'd share my thoughts of the day!

Good Morning Mom!!!
Well this isn't a sleeping picture, but this morning I walked into his room to get him for breakfast and this is how I found him. He hates being on his belly, but he was exploring the world through a different angle. Although I thought he wouldn't crawl, this is giving me hope. Gotta love this little man
Sprawled Out
I like to call this one sprawled out, because he looks soo comfortable and peaceful. He's learned to prop his foot up on the bumper pads and throw his binky out of the bed. My favorite is that he rubs his binky against the wall by reaching under the bumper pads. He does that to get our attention. Although bedtime is a great break for both of us, I always look forward to morning when I go to his room and he greets me with a binky smile!!

Hello Everyone
Well after much persuasion I've decided to start a blog. So I guess I can say I'm a blogger now thanks to Teryn, Claire, and Julia who were my inspiration. LOL
Anyways well as many of you know we are beginning a new quest in our lives. After 2 attempts to crack into dental school, we are moving to increase our odds with residency. So as of now we are planning on moving to Texas on April 25. Yes in 2 weeks!! Although I am excited to turn a new leaf and live close to family and closer to friends, I am kind of sad to close this chapter in our lives. Utah has been all I've know since high school, and this has been our home since we got married.
On a good note, we are thinking we might be selling our house. (3rd offers the charm we HOPE) As you all know the real estate market isn't at it's best right now. Although we will be taking a loss, we feel the sacrifice will be more beneficial in the future. So if all goes well we will be closing before we pack to leave. If all doesn't go well don't worry we are still moving, we are just going to become landlords. Our dream come true! HAHA!
Well now lets talk about the BEST thing in our lives LITTLE LOGAN. Who ever knew that being a mommy was the best job ever. I know you hear people say that, but you really never know how much it's true until the miracle happens to you. Logan is the cutest thing ever with his toothy 3 teeth grin. (2 on bottom and 1 on top) He's rolling over from front to back and back to front. It's so cute. He loves to jump, eat, and play with mom and dad. Logan is so independent at only 8 1/2 months. He loves to feed himself, hold his own sippy cup, and most of all put his own binky in his mouth. If you lay him down for nap or bedtime and try to give him a binky he pushes your hands away, grabs his own, and puts it in his mouth. This month he's really been exploring sleeping positions. He likes to lay on his side, his back with 1 hand under his bum and 1 under his head, and the funniest holding on to the top and bottom of his bumper pad.
Well to wrap things up, Dustin and I are doing GREAT. Dustin is finishing up work at his current job making doors, and I work from home doing vacation rentals online. Dustin is preparing to take the DAT (dental admissions test) on the 24th, and well me I'm just praying that he does well! Thanks for looking at my blog, and I hope in the future the stories might just be a little more entertaining. I am by no way a writer, but if this blog does nothing more, I hope it provides you glimpse into the life of the McCammons.
