Big fan of the Lword? I'll tell you more.

So, GLAAD media awards was on saturday. (It's like the academy awards, but the queer version of it.) Guess who was there.. Well, obviously Ellen and Portia (: And there was this segment for a special recognition for the Lword for 6 seasons. So Ilene Chaiken, Jennifer Beals, Leisha and Kate was there to receive the award. There was Jane Lynch (who played Joyce) and Alan Cumming (kit's manager, the transgender guy) was there also! Hmm, Jessica Alba gave out one of the awards too. I can't believe that I've seen them in reality. It's so surreal. Okay, so if you thought that was cool. Today, Marlee Matlin came to my school to present a short lecture. Half the people were from the deaf studies program, the other half, queers & Lword fans. haha.. no, seriously. She told us her life story which was pretty inspiring. And she's as hot as she look on tv. For the record, if you don't know who she is, she plays Jodi. Bette's partner in Season 4 of the Lword. During the Q&A, someone asked.. Who killed Jenny? And she said to buy her book and she'll write it down for us. Guess what, I know who killed Jenny :) haha. For the record, there's no more spin off for the show, so she says. But there's an Lword movie/musical coming up next summer, go figure. To top it off, we took photos with her and I've her autograph.

There's interviews with Mia and Jennifer Beals tomorrow down in West Hollywood. I'm figuring if I should go. It's such a Lword filled week, it's simply awesome.

Homosapien ;

Go figure that term. It isn't difficult.
Been faithfully applying moisturizer on my tatts everyday. I wondered why i did it. It hit me today, was it because I wanted it to look good, or because it still meant something? So i wondered, the bottom line is that i'll take care of it whatever the reason maybe.

Monogamy - the practice of having a sexual relationship with only one partner at a time.
Is monogamy still commonly practiced amongst people in society? Or are there too many "shane's" out there? Go watch the Lword if you have no clue what i'm talking about, season 3.

For the record, I'm just throwing out random thoughts that come to my head.

I enjoy keeping quiet sometimes, it allows me to process my thoughts. The disadvantage is that others have no idea what goes through the mind. My facial expression gives away no clue, and thus it leads to assumptions that the other party will come up with. The only and most logical way to figure out what I'm thinking about. Communication; the most important, yet difficult thing to do. The most important things are the hardest things to say, arn't they? Maybe because the heart speaks, and it makes one feel so vulnerable.

What my heart wants, my mind disagrees with.
Battle of the organs, who will win?

If you need to crash and burn, you're not alone.
