Free Hugs;

I've always wanted to do a free hugs campaign like the one on youtube. This guy held up the "free hugs" sign in school today, I went up to hug him. People should do it more often.

Anyway, I think 2009 will be a pretty interesting year. It started with me taking a breathalyzer test from the traffic police, and then i just took an x-ray for my left leg (& i realised i've tiny bones)! Will need to go for physiotherapy for the next few weeks. 2 things that has never happened to me just did within a span of one month.. not like it's a good thing but still. oh, i'm trying to request tickets for the ellen show, if i get it, it'll go down on my interesting happenings list in '09 ((:

Spent CNY down in LA with my aunt's friends family. It was better than nothing, with chinese food and chinese company. I felt chinese.. well, i am. Anyway, it's funny how i don't feel that home sick. I've heard people talk about feeling even more homesick when you go home and come back, hmm.. not really the way i feel.. yet. The mornings still drop to single digits and the toilet seats wake me up cause it's so darn cold, really. It works better than an alarm clock. Daily dose of the ellen show, disney, discovery and history channels keep me going..

Semesters in full swing once again. Funny, but it seems like the workload this semester is heavier than last, and then again, i think i just got lazier. Gender & women studies class seems pretty interesting. We touch on the feminist movement, roles women play in society, stereotypes, transgender/ homosexuals and all (: Anyway, was thinking of heading up to the mountains for some snow, probably will do so soon. Wanted to snowboard but I dont think my leg will hold up for it, so i'll skip it for now.. Did i mention I have a really hot professor.. kinda. haha, shut up alex, enough of your nonsense.

The last time I used blogger; last year. Hello 2009. Another year has passed, and lots have changed. Spent an awesome start of the year with people I love, what more could I ask for. Christmas was well spent with the girls and our usual traditions. All smiles for me when I landed on the not-so-sunny, yet warm & humid, food paradise. Meet ups are countless and tiresome yet worth it. It just feels weird being home, somehow. A little disoriented at first, but i guess it's sinking in. And once it has sunk in, I'll be back to the oh-so-liberal, non-conservative, rainbow flagged place.

Anyway, just watched the producers cut for the L word season 6 and a few episode previews, it's absurd i swear. No spoilers here, unless you ask me, i'll gladly tell you haha. oh oh, my bestfriend just told me something that actually makes a lot of sense. This is what she said to me: "you should stop wasting time PARTYING because it's way more fun over there, so spend quality time with family and important friends here..." right? I totally agree and I should. I'm gonna be away from them for the longest this time, kinda scary to think about it, but hey.. why not. We'll be just fine. I love life. It's full of surprises.
