7 out of 10 frown about homosexuality - ntu survey

oh hey, look! new things to talk about. these are the stuffs that keep my blog going; Straits Time (Home COVER Page) on the 20th sept. And so it goes to show what a conservative country i or rather we live in. here's the other side of the news, the survey on homosexuality that was done in 2001 mentioned that 85% of singaporeans frown about it, but hey, it's down to 70% already! Quite a drastic drop over the span of sucha short time isnt it?! I'd reckon that the 30% who are okae with it are mostly people like us or friends around us, there's why that figure.

So other statistics were done around the world too. The United States; 42% frown about homosexuality, Germany; 15% frown about it. how cool's that?! Maybe i should change my target and go to germany instead of the US because they're more open to such happenings. This is revolution and every country has to face it sooner or later that there ARE gays around. Denying the fact isn't going to help much in time to come. Look at us when you need creative people. Look AT the creative industry itself, who makes up them!? okae i'm exaggerating a little there, but still. Oh, and it has also come to my attention that not many people are aware of what the rainbow is. For your info, it's a sign for gay pride. I dont really know the reason why though. scroll down on my blog, and on the right panel you'll find this rainbow sign with links in that box. Go see if you're able to find why the rainbow signifies gay pride. haha let me know when any of you do!

Okae, my hand hurts from blood donation so i'm gonna stop here. gonna float to bed soon. School's been abit weird.. i dont know. maybe it's just the classes, maybe cause i've only 3 days of school and i hardly see my girlfriend as much. (rants and complains). It's back to FYP and the roving DV competition and looking thru uni's.. oh well. off from here!

last semester of the final year;

oh look, 3 years has almost passed since i've been in rp. an interesting semester one i had, pretty cool class. And then again it could be because we're in STA. playing dog & bone on the corridors, having a fashion show as our presentations, tied and left gerald in the elevators and lawn, blahs.. the list goes on and it only spells more fun. one week left till school re-opens. I'm gonna miss these years in poly.

Was out with the bitches today, did really weird things and played heart attack. talked about what we were gonna do and go after graduation, and the topic sounded scary.. seeing how each of us will go our seperate ways and all .. In the mean time, messages about our classes started coming in. So reality sets in. we're moving on to the final semester. A 3 day week for me. good or bad, i've no idea. no school on fridays; fiona and i decided that it was great cause we could go to Two Queens party every thurs, tell me about it.

Graduation's 16 weeks away. The countdown begins. I'm watching the OC AGAIN.. the episode where they all graduate in season 3. it reminds me of the US and unis and what not.. a nostalgic feeling is starting to set it in. oh well.. Back from HK and m'sia.. so there goes my holidays for me. waiting for neeko to be back from germany. baby, faster come back pleaseee )): been keeping myself busy this week, so that the days will pass faster.. another herstory party coming up.. jamming and catching up with friends that is for me this week. got FYP2 on the way, SC stuffs, perhaps some video competition coming up.. it's gonna be busy busy busy.. maybe.
