Its almost a year since i last recorded things down. Many things have changed in my life.. some for the better, some.. well... not desired. Its really contrasting.. the life that i'm so used to one year ago.. Its now completely different. Its amazing how life change so quickly..
If all things goes well, i should be leaving for australia in a few weeks time. my au visa is really taking really long.. but, no rush though.. at least I was given the opportunity to tide through the initial difficult times with my family. I hope my mother regains her health soon, no surprises, and the treatment goes smoothly..
Wishlist - my wings! - advanced diver license - Class 2B - PPCDL - learn piano - and most importantly, my parents good health!
I love you mom, I love you dad..

Dekitting my first ride later in the afternoon. You've served me well. You may not be fast enough, but your agile, and your tough. I have a very good experience with you. Some photos in your memory. =)

my last interview on wed. and its the most important interview i'd ever have. ACE it!
11:45 PM
went for the medical examination for SPF. Thought it was quite routine, after so many rounds of interviews. couldnt believe wat the doctor told me.
First, the thalassaemia that dashed my dreams of a fighter pilot, and now this. he said there's a 7mm lump inside my chest, possibly lung cancer but cannot confirm yet. Why do I have to suffer so many extraordinary setbacks that I couldnt control? NONE of it was down to my own actions. It is not the consequence of my own wrong-doings.
Nonetheless, I control my own fate, I control my own future. I'll strive to be successful while I'm in control.

Exams Finally exams are over, projects are over. time to slack. honestly, i envision myself to slack all the way till next year end of sem. cos got onli 1 course, AB311, to clear, the rest are optional modules which i'd definitely SU it if i got them. so except for the FYP and this core module, I see myself with plenty of time to learn new skills, have more fun. haha.
Interviews Went to a couple of interviews to secure a full time job after I grad, including one in the mist of exams. unfortunately all are still "in the air" admist this financial crisis. I must stress that the interview offered by credit suisse and merill lynch (Yes! surprisingly they are still around) are very very different. Credit was relatively much simpler as compared to that of merill. Selection process is much shorter as well, onli the standard computer tests and a superday in their office where the interview and group discussion is being held. In contrast, merill was much more lengthy and wishy washy. after the computer tests, a phone interview, a face interview, and I think several more. Of course I cant comment further as i'm onli currently juz after the face interview. The stark contrast in their approach is that merill was much more technical based while credit focus more on the candidate qualities.
I consider myself lucky as compared to my peers who did not even have the chance to go for an interview. I must admit that finding your competitive advantage, what sets you apart from others, is really important and bank on it to get yourself a job. with that, when going for interview, there's no need to pretend to be some1 your not, hence less stressful.
Well, I hope i'm offered both. As for the rest who haven reply, i'm still waiting =)
Holidays Bought a new pair of inline skates after my last paper on thurs. Been planning to do dat since months ago. finally got them. Alastair went down specially for company. nice bro huh.. I'm gonna learn skating and skate like a pro someday. haha.
The one thing dat was constantly on my mind while preparing for exams was singing and dancing. ha.. the radio was left on most of the time while i study and i couldnt help but sing along wif it. anyone game for a ktv session? haha.. and oh, I wanna learn gliding. got some tips from weilong. ha,probably get more samples from youtube and c if i can self learn the dance =p.
Gotta clear my IPPT this year, the first year since I ORD. and I haven do a serious running for like 2 years. gotta seriously train up. realised the difference in my arms and abs too.. urgh... MUZ TRAIN...
Last but not least, the adrenaline rush dat have evaded me for months. gonna burn some carbon and rule some bends. hahaha. floor that pedal!
