Ok.  I seriously think this is the real one!  I snuck a peak at his beard when he wasn´t looking and it would be very difficult to argue that Santa Clause doesn´t exist after doing so.   

 

Not Liking the Idea of a Tooth Fairy

Lila lost her first tooth.  For some reason she doesn´t care too much about getting money from the Tooth Fairy and has decided to keep the tooth instead.  Lately it has been hard to say goodbye to different things. 

Goodbye Fridge

After 3 weeks of hectic work and frequent family holiday functions I finally had a day off to enjoy my yearly ritual of cleaning and organizing after Christmas.  I was so excited I could hardly stand it. I was going to go through drawers, throw out old clothes and organize hangers by colors along with many other things. I really wanted to clean the fridge, but wasn´t sure I would get to it.  I don´t think I have ever moved that much in one day in my whole life.  Not even working on Dave´s houses, not digging the hole in Rob´s front yard.  I don´t think I stopped at all.  The list was massive and I just needed to get things done. At one point I actually thought I might be able to eat, but thus it was an accomplishable task.

At the end of the day I didn´t get some of the things done that I wanted, going through drawers, throwing out clothes and organizing hangers, but one of the things that I actually got to cross off my list was cleaning the fridge. When both the fridge and washing machine broke down the same day I just sat right there and smiled that it was cold outside and I had a place to put all the food. What else could I do? That night while laying down with Lila she quite sweetly explained the reason.

LILA: Mommy, do you know why the fridge died?

ME: No, why?

LILA: It was tired of being cold all the time.

Being a mom is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I see how my babies are growing up and it saddens me that our time is so limited. I hope I can always be there for my little ones. I hope I am there for them now.

Halloween 2014

Lila was a scary vampire and Sondre was a spider. I wanted to dress Sondre up as a lumberjack but it was so warm out there was no way I could put him in a hat and beard.

Walking to school

Everyday we walk to school. Lila and Sondre are enjoying it. Sondre seems to miss Lila and says her name when I put him in the stroller.

Climbing Lessons

We signed Lila up for Climbing lessons this spring.  She loved them!  Our only problem now is she wants to climb everything!
