Tanner had his birthday in October. This year was really fun. He understood more what was going on. He really got into opening up his presents. He loved people singing happy birthday to him. He is sweet, loving, smart, energtic and keeps me on his my toes. He loves disney car movie and anything to do with it, hot wheel cars, trains, and mickey mouse. We are grateful to be his parents. We did a family dinner and presents. I made a lightning mcqueen cake for him. At his friends party we had them paint cardboard boxs to make cars. We had a pinata. Tanner loved it.

October- Pumpkins and Halloween
So I have not blogged in a while so I am catching up. October we went to black island farms. Grandpa Patterson was down and came with us. Tanner loved it. They have slides made on hay stacks. They take you out on a tractor ride and you can pick out a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. We carved and painted our pumpkins this year since we had lots of pumpkins. The boys got to go trick or treating at Alan's work. Then they went trick or treating around the neighboorhood too. Tanner was loaded with candy. We copied one idea from one of Alan's coworkers. Tanner picked out some of his candy and left it for the "treat witch" aka mom and dad in return the treat witch left him a surprize (a thomas train). Tanner was a byu football player and Trevor was his football. Alan was the coach and I was the cheering mom.

Potty Training (month and half ago)
That is right Tanner is potty trained. We started the end of June so it has been around two months. He did better then I expected. I was expecting many accidents to come but he didn't really have a whole lot. I think he has had around 5. We did the sticker chart with a prize at the end if he went a week. He loved loved the sticker chart. Sometimes I think he went not because he had to but he wanted to put a sticker on. He wanted to get a race track if he got potty trained. It has been nice not having to change diapers for him any more. I am so proud of him to and how well he did.
This was after two days I think.
This is what he got a pack of cars and a race track.
He made it and got his prize. He loves his race track. He was so excited the first time the cars went down.
Fishing
We took Tanner fishing for the first time in July. He was loving it. He even talks about it still. Grandpa helped out and showed him how.
Holding the fishing pole waiting for the fish to come.
Grandpa showing him how to reel in the fish.
And then how to cast.
He got one. The next picture is out of order but grandpa sat down so he wanted to.
Trevor and me sat and watched.
Last Two Months
Since Tanner got his cast off we just have been hanging out, went on a summer to california, family reunions and using our pass of all passes. Tanner has gotten over his fear of his bike and loves to ride it now. Trevor is rolling over. He is starting to move around a little but not crawling yet. I am not ready for him to be crawling.
We did potatoe stamping on day. Tanner loved it and thought it was fun.
Trevor tried oreo for the first time. He loved it.
Love this picture of the boys. So cute.
