Mama & Grandpa Moons
We went to Idaho to visit Adam's parents last weekend. "Mama" Moon's house (as Grace used to say) is heaven on earth for Grace. She loves horses, trampolines, being outside, big screen tv's, and been served hand and foot and she gets it all at grandma's. It was a somewhat eventful trip that we weren't expecting. We got to Idaho late Friday night, put the kids to bed, and as we were getting in bed Adam's brother ran in and said one of his newly adopted dogs just delievered puppies. This was a new experience for me becasue Ididn't grow up in the country or aroud this kind of stuff. One of the puppies wasn't moving and was really cold when we went out to see them, but he was still alive., so Adam stayed up until about 1am warming the puppy inside by the wood burning stove. Eventually the puppy started moving around so he went back out to his mom. We found out the next day the puppy didn't make it but we gave a good try. Then Saturday morning Grace got a flu bug and was throwing up so she spent the day snuggled with grandma on the couch (I should have taken a picture of this couch because it's the biggest one I've ever seen in one room) and she was happy as a clam even though she wasn't up to par. Having Grace sick cancelled our trip to Rexburg to see Adam's sister who has 11 week old twin girls who we haven't seen yet. We didn't want to get them sick incase we were carrying a bug (and the twins are still small and can't be around other kids yet) so we stayed home. By Sunday morning Grace was up and running so we took her outside after church to check things out. Here are some pics of all the fun grandma & grandpa Moon's house holds:
Max stayed warm inside with Grandma Moon. She was good to sit and watch Grace out the window so Max could see too.
Me, Grace, and a black cat in the horse corral. There are lots of cats running around there and this one was extra friendly to camp out on the fence next to us.
The trac-o-line in Grace lingo.
Daddy and Grace with Ivan the horse. These two love horses. It's their own thing to do together because those horses make me nervouse and I don't like to get too close!
Grace is already anxiously counting down the days until we visit again. It was a nice weekend break for all of us.

A BIG THANK YOU
I just wanted to tell everyone Thank You so much for all the love and support as my mom fought cancer and during her passing. I have been overwhelmed by the generosity, compassion, and goodness of so many people during this time. My family, dad, and sister have been blessed a hundred fold because of everyone's prayers and goodness. It's hard to express how grateful I am for all of you and I know my mom is thankful too, as she looks down on us from heaven and sees so many taking care of her family. Thank you and may God Bless each of you. May the memory of my mom's service and example stay with everyone as a great example to all who knew her.
